Great fish and chips. Reasonable prices.

My wife and I are on Holiday in Lanark. Tonight we enjoyed fish and chips. The staff very friendly. The fish was delicious. I would recommend you try it. A very satisfied customer.

I normally have coffee and a cake if I frequent here, they recently got a new coffee machine so you now get a proper coffee, a big improvement on the last push a button machine, cakes sometimes can be a little hard, kept in a chilled cabinet and uncovered and ? That could be why

I'm from a fishing town and this is the best Fish Tea I have had in the Lanarkshire area and for a great price too. Well worth a visit!

Best steak pie around and I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne will always pop in to have one every time I'm near by

Clean and contemporary decor/ fittings.
Sadly service was without any personality, quite uncomfortable.
Portion size was good and fish cooked to perfection.
No bag supplied for the two meals.
Price was slightly high compared to English chippies.
Could be a great chippy, if the dour service was replaced.
Have revisited again. Still as dour.

Definitely not as good as it used to be. Visited on a Thursday. Sit down menu overpriced for what you get would be better buying a takeaway. Shared toilet facilities only accessible with a code from staf. Toilet was filthy and smelly. Would hate to think what it would be like on a busier day

This chippy was highly recommended by family in the area who have eaten here regularly. Uninterested staff, too busy having conversations with each other and not listening to customers. Special fish was special alright, it had vacated the burnt, hard dressing. Chips were very dry despite asking for vinegar. Not an experience I would care to repeat anytime soon.

A few months ago l was in Valarios restaurant, and went to the counter to order something, and the red haired girl, who still works there, looked away and was smirking and looking over at her work colleague, who was smirking also. So I reported it to the owner Dario, and nothing as far as I could tell was done about it, as I got no apology.

I could tell you about countless other bad experiences in this restaurant

We always go here for our fish and chips, they are the as good as any I have tasted anywhere. You have to wait as everything is cooked to order, but certainly worth the wait
