Chocolate orange delight! I’m running out of ways to use my husbands favourite chocolate in his birthday cakes!

A birthday cake for a friend who has just been on a swimming holiday to Crete.

In my new sensible job I still get to make the odd cake #sportrelief

I may no longer be baking for the public but I still bash out the odd sweet treat. This was for my daughter's birthday at the end of February. I'm not sure how many jelly babies made it on to the cake rather than in my mouth!

Today we had a first, and a last! A lovely intimate wedding at Prestonfield House had individual cakes shaped as curling stones! They were piped with the Bride & Grooms initials and the date. This was a last as it was my last cake job. I have taken on a new career and as such the cakes will be no more. Thank you so much to all of my lovely customers over the years, it's been fun and I've loved being involved with so many special peoples special occasions. Kxxxx

Our second cake today is for Cameron - red velvet with vanilla buttercream icing. Not too shabby for your first birthday cake that doesn't have to be egg free! It also benefited from my love of edible gold paint which featured on both cakes today!!
