Treatment day for me today 🙌 Some numbing cream on beforehand and treating myself to Viscoderm which is available at my clinic, Vaughan Aesthetics. It's a dermal filler that lifts and softens lines under and around the eyes, frown lines, forehead, mouth to nose lines, lower face lines. What comes to your mind when you hear the words "lip fillers"? Duck lips, trout pout? Well not at Vaughan Aesthetics. This client has kindly consented to sharing her pictures. As you can see she had a narrow lower face and treatment and results need to be in keeping with this, enhancing what she has, but not over the top. Using a high quality filler which is soft (helping natural results), different techniques and the practitioners skills and knowledge she "loves her lips" with some subtle volume added in the upper lip. "I love my lips" - What one of my new clients said to me yesterday straight after treatment. One of the reasons I do skin treatments is to help people feel more confident. I performed a holistic assessment. Although this lady this lady is very self conscious of the area she wants treated, upon my thorough assessment I could clearly see signs of anx...iety, even more so when I talked through the potential risks and complications. This is an important part of the consultation because risks and complications do happen, even to the most experienced practitioner. Although she pushed for me to book her in ASAP I strongly advised a minimum of a 24 hour cooling off period (which I do for all dermal fillers). Today she has messaged to say although she really wants the treatment the risk of complications is worrying her. Fortunately she she came to a practitioner who used her nursing and assessment skills who puts people wellbeing and safety as priority and not just after their money x

Hi. How was your weekend? Well despite a couple of setbacks mine was good. On Saturday I drove up to the North East and did a client's treatment review and another's Dermaplaning. Both these ladies I know well and they are returning and loyal clients so with them living about an hour away from me, we agreed on a compromise and plan re travelling. I'm happy to be flexible with my services when clients are respectful of my time and expertise 😉😍

Morning. So I just thought I'd share this video of me getting a treatment done. I've mentioned before, but I'm definitely not averse to getting treatments done myself. A few tweaks here and there with subtle, natural results. Starting earlier is easier than leaving it too late then needing a lot more product because your skin has lost so many essential properties. I'm having my tear troughs done. It was really getting me down when I looked in the mirror (putting my contact lenses in, doing my make up). I looked old and tired under the eyes. Not only has it freshened me up, looking younger but it's really boosted my confidence. I walk with my shoulders back and head held high (or at least that's how it makes me feel).
