About Velo Ecosse
Velo Ecosse was established in 1999 by Gregor Russell after 15 years in the cycle trade and a lifetime involved in cycling. Coming from a cycling family, you could say it is in our blood, his first taste of riding was day trips around East Lothian which progressed to camping and hosteling holidays. At the age of 16 he became the first junior to visit all the hostels in Scotland. After this he took up cycle racing, becoming competent in all disciplines he started his own racing team which went onto dominate the Scottish racing scene for the next twenty years as well as gaining a number of British championships and records. All this experience and knowledge lead him to open Scotland's most exciting cycle shop with top quality European and World brands. Now eleven years on with the over the counter shop a well established land mark we are now happy to launch our online service.

What did we all think of the Paris-Nice? impressed?
Congratulations to Tom Arnstein on winning the opening round of the SS6 RR series! Tom rode over to join team mate Rob Wilkins in the leading group and between them dominated the race. As well as winning overall Tom was 1st Junior and 1st 2nd Cat, while Rob finished 6th overall after two valiant attempts to escape on the closing laps allowing Tom to get to the finish and win the uphill sprint to the line by over 6 lengths! Rob also won the 'sprints' prize and the 'KOH' title making it a very successful day out for the squad. While Rob and Tom were pushing the race winning move clear Lewis Oliphant, Matt MacDonald, Eddie Addis and Finlay Young were able to police the bunch to the finish! Team Velo Ecosse
