Lovely wine merchant with a great selection and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

VINO is a bit overpriced compared to other off-licence shops in the city, but it's still a great shop staffed by lovely folk, with a fantastic selection of drink.

, I went in to buy and did buy some wine and the women was really impatient rude and abrupt when I was just asking some basic questions with regards to the purchase's , she was also muttering what sounded like derogatory asides under her breath. The supposed knowledge referred to in other reviews had to be gleamed from quick fire internet searches , the request for a specific country region , was meet with an attitude like I was asking for the world in a bottle.
I've seen them switch on the charm , patience and professionalism depending on the outward look of the customer (i.e. can they smell money , well spoken etc ) also she forgot to wrap one of the bottles properly. Evidently the service etiquette is variable.

Friendly place with good knowledge of beer and wine, especially local beer (drink Scottish beer!). Dog friendly.

Great shop that offers an amazing selection of beers wines and spirits. Staff is friendly and helpful and their products come from around the world.

Great little shop with big ranges of wines, beers and spirits, particularly gins. The beer range does change quite regularly so there is usually something new.
