Really unique spot. The fact it doubles as a wine shop and bar is fantastic - you can buy anything off the shelves that takes your fancy and if the weather is feeling generous you can have it then and there sitting outside with a great view. Staff really know their stuff and it's dangerously close to the train station.

I have stopped here for a bottle of wine on my way to the station and the staff member on was really helpful. They had ran out of the wine I wanted and suggested another to replace which was both cheaper and even tastier! I have also stopped here for drinks with friends and we ended up staying the whole night! The fact that I can pick any wine on the shelf and drink it (for a small fee) sitting outside watching the world go by is just great and I love this concept of wine shop/bar. The staff seem really knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I have yet to try anything on tap but I definitely will do next time I'm there!

A really great space to go and clock in an evening, the arch has a great atmosphere within itself but add the the friendly, knowledgeable, and cheery staff to that and you are onto one of Edinburgh's best wee wine spots. On top of the by the glass range the guys also do a £5 corkage on anything off the shelf so as far as wine bars go (never-mind one as central as this) this is insanely good value. Love this spot and delighted Edinburgh has a wine merchant that is able to serve wine on the premise finally! Just a brilliant concept excellently executed.
