----------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Elgin Community Centre – Update to Parents and Families ----------------------------------------- --------------------------------------- You may have heard that Moray Council has announced that it will stop funding the Community Centre from the beginning of April 2019 and is consulting on the possibility of it continuing to operate through a Community Asset Transfer, or its closure. VIP Childcare ...Moray is committed to continuing to provide quality early learning childcare and we will enter discussions with the council and other groups to explore continuing to operate in the Community Centre and also explore other possible venues in and around Elgin. VIP Childcare Moray is a strong and sustainable Social Enterprise, and the current government initiative to increase the provision of funded childcare places means there is an increasing demand for nursery places across Moray. We pay a significant rent to the council for our space in the Community Centre and are confident that a solution can be found. ----------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- -

We attended the relaunch of the Moray Social Enterprise Network yesterday organised by Lovely Lucy Tsi Moray hosted at Morayvia. A very informative day, networking with other Social Enterprises and local people with enterprising ideas💡 . We were excited to debut a piece of our new Branding and have an exciting conversation with Kathy Anderson's Care Home about opportunities with our Children and the Residents ... 😊

We are one of the Partner Providers offering Phase 1 funded places this August 😀 ✅We will have places for children entitled to 600hours per year and 1140hours. ✅ We have flexible session times ✅ We offer Term-Time and all Year Round ✅ We offer wrap around care between the hours of 8.00am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our 3-5s have taken part in the Moray Rocks activity by designing their rocks with the Residents of Anderson's and hiding them in the surrounding area for others to take part. Another way to share pastimes between the generations 👫

We have had a great experience with our daughter loving her time at VIP. There have been ups and downs however they have supported us, as well as her, and helped us as a family over hurdles that seemed so high. She has certainly blossomed at VIP and is so ready for school. VIP interactions with Andersons, Reap, etc. give the children such a fantastic understanding of their community and enviroment too. Thank you to all the team.

We absolutely love VIP- the setting, the enthusiasm, the ideas, the genuine care and interest that is given to each child and most of all, the staff!

Thanks very much for letting me join in on all the fun at your Visioning Day! :D I felt really inspired to meet such a friendly & positive group of people who are so passionate about providing the best opportunities for child development! I really enjoyed hearing about all the great work you do & I can't wait to come visit! :D Well done everyone & thank you again! :) Amanda x

My son attended the nursery from March 14 til March 17. To say he loved it was is understatement. He has some additional needs which where always met and Thanks to VIP he came on leaps and bounds! We have moved out of the area but he still talks about his friends and the staff daily! Great values, wonderful staff and a lovely nursery!!
