Newly arrived on these shores helping friends to find accommodation and places to visit has prompted me to produce this guide for travellers to these parts

We travelled to the islands from Manchester via the long route to Ullapool and across the Minch via ferry to our new home in Stornoway. That is an adventure in itself. Since then we have started travelling around our new home and helping our friends to come and visit this special place. Working from home gives me an opportunity to share the activities on the Hebrides to all my Facebook friends. Where to stay, eat or see is something we are discovering everyday. We have inquiring minds so what you will see here is what we enjoy too. We are on permanent holiday!
