The Von Hügel Institute (VHI) was founded in 1987 to promote research into Catholic thought and culture. It is an interdisciplinary intellectual hub which produces and disseminates research on religion and ethics in connection with contemporary global realities across the broadest range of academic disciplines. We do this by having annual themed lecture series, high-level international conferences, as well as producing academic publications and promoting student interest and research, all within the setting of the world-class University of Cambridge.
