Hi I am Darryl Guthrie

I attended St. Saviour’s High School 1995- 2000.

After leaving the Savies with average grades I tried a few different jobs including working in the Asdas and the Michelin.

I then spent 8 years with a local charity, building a career in the care sector by supporting adults with learning disabilities. In the last 2 years I have been working as a community worker and starting a not for profit organisation called Uppertunity.
It is said that it is what people do and not what they say is the measure of them.
Having spent the last 10 years dedicated to working in a way that places the people at the centre of what I do. I believe I am the best candidate to ensure our communities are treated the same.
