Great variety of international and local products. Very tidy and clean store. Helpful and friendly staff. A bit expensive as expected

In Waitrose today and very helpful member of staff went and checked in stock room for me. I was looking for a specific chocolate bar which they were sold out of.... she returned with an alternative bar which she highly recommended. It's absolutely delicious and I got it as a gesture of good will. I will be buying a lot of it😄. Well done Waitrose, am impressed both by your staff and your delicious fair-trade chocolate.

Excellent supermarket, as one would expect. However, at the risk of sounding painfully Dowanhill, the baguettes are rather doughy and don't soak up the balsamic vinegar very well. Instead, they deliver a mouthful of olive oil.

Got to be the BEST Waitrose! It is more than a shopping experience. The staff are superb and exceedingly helpful and friendly, even the security guards. Great Bargain's and coffee too! What more could one ask for? Sincere thanks to ALL the staff at Byres rd., branch... Love, tom and violet××××

Such a good supermarket shopping experience. Excellent storecupboard buys. Innovative food ideas. And, not as expensive as perceived by many. Waitrose price match to Tesco and have a huge range in their own Waitrose Essential products. Genuinely friendly staff. And I always check out the Waitrose Food Magazine, a host of ideas for the next cooking month.

You have to make a purchase now to get free tea or coffee with the Waitrose loyalty card, not complaining about that. Great selection of quality food and drink and staff are all helpful and friendly with the exception of the fat guy on the deli counter who is positively rude and obnoxious.Waitrose is not always as expensive as popular belief and there are some good end of line and sale date bargains to be had. Also has a dedicated fish & meat counter. Free parking above the supermarket, access from the Lane behind the Grosvenor Hilton Hotel. It is also a collection point for John Lewis purchases, online or in store.

Prefer the Waitrose in Milngavie - I mean the store's layout is much much nicer but all the starving broke students are taking all the good discounts!! None left for me ;(

User

Great selection of cheese! One of the only places in Glasgow to have French raclette cheese!

User

Very handy well stocked Waitrose, good as an alternative to Tesco in the area - a bonus having a free tea/coffee being a myWaitrose member whilst shopping.

Can't fix their coffee machines. Sort it out! Yummy mummies need their caffeine.
