We opened our doors in 2004 when Jim Wallace had a view of offering high quality total independent veterinary healthcare for your pets at an affordable price. Over the years this ethos has helped us grow into a thriving four Vet practice.

In 2013 the practice was bought over by Niall Morton, after joining the team in 2010. Jim still works here full time, so operationally itŌĆÖs business as normal, and our values still hold true; aiming to offer a high level service at an affordable price with your pets being our number one priority, at the heart of everything we do.

Since taking over, Niall has been keen to invest in both staff and equipment. WeŌĆÖve increased our ability and efficiency at testing and examining in-house by purchasing a new Digital X-Ray system as well as equipment for conducting full biochemistry and haematology blood tests.
WeŌĆÖve invested in our staff by enrolling Alison in college to achieve a full Diploma Nursing Qualification, which she is due to complete this year. WeŌĆÖve also invested in Lisa who is currently studying a level 2 Diploma for Veterinary Care Assistants.

12 years on and our values continue to hold true. Our aim; to provide a high quality complete veterinary service to as many people as possible in the Dundee and Angus areas. Our core mission is to care for your pets the way we care for our own, providing a friendly and supportive service with your petŌĆÖs welfare at the heart of everything we do. And weŌĆÖre always here for you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Your complete peace of mind is extremely important to us. We communicate with you at every step of your pets journey throughout our practice, providing you with true independent veterinary advise.

We called Wallace Vets due to my dog howling in pain and they seen us straight away. Turns out we got her there just in time and it was a very close call. She needed emergency surgery to save her and a week later she is recovering beautifully. From the bottom of my heart i cant thank Neil (who operated on her) and the rest of the team enough for saving my furry baby. Everyone has been fantastic!!! Thank you xxx

User

Wallace Vets are amazing. I have visited both the Broughty Ferry and Carnoustie practices lately and they are both awesome. They say they want to treat every pet as if it was their own. In my experience they really did this. They were all really friendly. The treatment they gave my hamster was first class and gave her more months of a good quality life and a dignified death. Thank you Wallace Vets.

User

The staff here are all amazing! The love and care given to our pets is fantastic. I've visited Carnoustie and Broughty Ferry practices and everybody is so welcoming and professional. Keep up the great work! ’┐Į

User

Such a caring and happy team! Made the whole experience stress free for me - as a new dog owner - and our puppy. Bella loves going in to see all the staff now - can't say more than that! Highly recommend!

User

Started taking my 18 year old cat to Niall a few months ago & i'm so glad I did. Finally got to the bottom of what was wrong after being misdiagnosed at previous vet. Although it was cancer & she doesn't have long left, the care & attention she receives is second to none. Always available to give advice when I need it & it makes a huge difference being able to trust ur vet. Will definitely take my other pets here in the future

User

So glad I did my research before getting our wee pup Indy. Not really a place you necessarily want to have to take your pet (or ur pet necessarily wants to go!) But the team in Ferry have been lovely from the first time we went. The receptionist is so warm and jolly and most welcoming and Stephan is the nicest vet who takes so much time and effort with you when you go. Highly recommended

Peggy had has a few rough days lately and had to have an emergency referral to the neuro specialist in Stirling . Thanks to Niall and Stephen for her care sheŌĆÖs not quite out of the woods yet tho !

Not a reason you want to write a review, but i feel it only right I say how well we were treated at a very sad time. I usually see Niall, but on Thursday 17th I met with A lovely female vet. I'm sure her name is Laura but if i am wrong it's the tall, pretty lady with beautiful red hair. On Thursday Our three girls, myself and my husband had to make the awful decision to have our handsome boy Rottie of 9years old to sleep. My husband is a trucker and was unable to make it home and our boy and him had a tremendous bond. My eldest and youngest stayed at home due to their distress, and my middle daughter who also had an amazing bond with Caesar, came with me. I have to say that the vet was so gentle, sensitive, supportive and understanding at such a heart-breaking time. We were torn apart by our loss and it helped to have quiet understanding in the very place you hope you leave with your beloved pet, and not leave them behind. It's a week of great loss for us as our elderly spaniel then passed away three days later. We are now left with our female rottie, a very sad and lost girl, and a huge hole in each of our hearts. A huge sincere thank you to you all for your respectful understanding and support. The Messeter family.

My collie Lucy had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks ago. She'd had a long and happy life, so I've had a long and happy association with Wallace Vets. From booking appointments to considerate aftercare - the practice is top notch. Staff are kind, considerate and efficient, plus expert care from the vets. Five stars!

User

Just joined this vets with my cat Bonnie and my dog Murphy. What an amazing positive experience for them both. I was greeted by a very friendly but professional receptionist who told me all I needed to know about The health club. The nurse they saw was first class and treated my pets as though they were her own. Murphy who is normally full of fear was very happy munching treats and got lots of encouragement and cuddles. I'm very happy to have joined this practice ’┐Į

I've recently moved to wallaces after a bad experience at another vet. My Labrador puppy is very anxious just now because of my pregnancy, and is quite scared of the vet anyway. The vet was amazing with him even when he was barking at him and reassured me that it was ok. Can't believe the difference between wallaces and my previous vet surgery, would definitely recommend! The receptionist was also amazing, even when he had an accident in the reception! ’┐Į thank you so much!

User

I'm so so so grateful I found Wallace vets.Niall has been a god send for my pug and bulldog and I don't know where they'd be today if I hadn't found him.Right from the word go he's been amazing and done all he can for them.Ive finally found a vet who really cares.Thank you so much Wallace vets for being so amazing.

User

I would like to thank Niall and his team at Wallace vets for the service they provided to Bailey when he ruptured his cruciate ligament. I am so happy that Bailey was given the opportunity to be the first dog at the practice to have the MMP operation performed by Niall at the surgery and that it has been a success. It has been a long hard slog keeping my rather boisterous boy calm but I have succeeded. Niall you should be so proud of what you and your surgery have a achieved and I am proud to say that I am happy Bailey has helped you. Thank you so much for all you have done.

User

I lost my bulldog pup on 28th July, which was really heartbreaking. IŌĆÖve just come home from a weeks holiday to find a lovely handwritten sympathy card sent through the post to me. I am extremely grateful for this and wanted to thank everyone at Wallace Vets for such a lovely gesture and the great care they took with Little Poppy and also the care they take of my other fur babies X

User

I changed vets a while ago to Wallace Vets amazing service especially recently when we had to say goodbye to our little dog - very helpful and compassionate - I donŌĆÖt know how you all cope with the ŌĆ£not so goodŌĆØ part of the jobs you do - and thank you all and your team for all you do x

User

Fantastic vets always welcoming and very helpful and professional and you all know Hugo loves his visits ’┐Į’┐Į

User

Excellent vets!! Just the other day my dog became very ill and had to be admitted .. I really thought we were going to lose him, but with the speedy work from Fraser and the love and attention from the staff, I got my dog back the next evening and what a difference .. I can't thank the staff enough. Highly recommended!!

User

Can't thank Stephan and the team enough for doing what we thought might be impossible and saving Fergus' our cat's leg after he was attacked by another animal. His shoulder was very badly damaged but the skill and care given to him at Wallace Veterinary Centre at Carnoustie and Broughty Ferry has ensured a fantastic recovery. Highly recommended, we wouldn't use another vet, and our other four 'hairies' are also looked after by the team.

User

Can't say enough nice things about Wallace Vet Centre - Broughty Ferry. Recently got my first puppy (Working Cocker Spaniel, Piper) and I've never been anything less than delighted with the service I've received when I've been to the vets with Piper. Highly recommend Wallace's after having some other less than ideal experiences at other vet centres.
