(James) Good morning hobbyists, it's our weekly what's going on with Warhammer Glasgow update, packed with all the information you need to schedule your hobby week!
Today is our free hobby day, feel free to come down and work on your hobby at our paint stations or play a game with larger tables available.
Tomorrow is our Adult Crusader Evening. These nights are becoming super popular and great fun all round, come down to learn or brush up on your warlord skills in Age of Sigm...ar or 40k. Sigmar - 500pts 40K - 30-32 power
We have armies ready for those to use if you don't yet have your own!
Wednesday is our Build And Paint evening! Come along and work on some hobby with the store open through until 8pm. We also have open gaming all day so Kill team, Necromunda etc are all more than welcome!
Thursday is our Late Night Hobby night a fantastic opportunity to play some games and try face off against other in store hobbyists. All the way through until 10PM
Friday is our Organised Play evening, we will be hosting an evening of Warhammer Skirmish in Age of Sigmar, Warbands should be 40pts for this.
Saturday has another set of amazing releases, we have an exciting new box filled with Lord of the Rings models for the new battle of Pelenor Fields set pictured below!

(stephen) We are gearing up for our summer hobby challenge grand finale. This Saturday 18th August. Simply bring down the models you have painted over the challenge period and show them off 1-2pm. We will also officially be launching the store Armies on Parade 2018 series of event, and will have scenery workshops showing how to get great looking scenery painted up.

Good morning hobbyists! It might be a bit grey outside, but we bask in the Emperor's Light in store!
It's Thursday and that means it's late night opening. We have open gaming tables for 40k and AoS all day, and from 5 onward we have late night game! Rapid fire 4x4 games, test your metal against the other warlords of Glasgow!
... We also have free painting stations to use ALL day, so if you want some help with your projects, or just want to bang out some painting, pop on by.

Was in yesterday for The first time in about 15 years, Callum sat me down and talked me over everything that had changed and ran over a painting demonstration too. Couldn't have been better.

Took my 9 year old in just to pick up a brush for something we're working on at home and ended staying for half an our painting his own figurine and getting a tutorial on playing the table top games. Big thanks to Callum for his enthusiasm and showing us the ropes!

Today my 7 years old son and myself spent an hour and a half painting characters with Robb. It was very entertaining and educational. We can't wait to do it at home now! Thank you

Today I Went to the store! The guys were so attentive to my needs, they supported me to make a great selection of my husband’s present. Thank you very much.

The staff are always friendly and helpful

The guys in store are great and so knowledgeable. At 43 I have come back to the hobby and had the fun of introducing my son to the world of 40k. Cheers guys.

Recently went in to get started in "Age of Sigmar" was helped out by Robb, very helpful, knowledgeable and chatty. A+ highly recommended.

Lovely shop with very nice staff and very helpful xx

Just been in with my wee boy for the first time to see what he thought. Absolutely amazed at the attention given to him by staff. Stewart spent time with him showing him how to play the game and paint the figures and he left with such a big smile on his face and can't wait to go back and spend some pennies. Nice to see staff who enjoy their job and the enthusiasm was amazing! Thanks Stewart for making his day! X

In this morning to pick up stuff for planned heresy era wolves army, sales assistant (Sandy?) was very pleasant and helpful. Really seemed to know his stuff and bantered away about his fists army, didn't try to pressure me into buying anything but did give me a very positive shopping experience! Look forward to going back in the new year to pick up more bits n pieces.

I found this store accidentally when my husband and I were exploring Glasgow. These stores are rare in central Minnesota where we are from, so I was very excited to stop. I had a great conversation with the gentleman in the store who gave me some tips on my mini painting. It was really great to be able to walk in and discuss techniques and see examples. I bought some to bring home and work on what he had told me. I can't say for sure I will ever be back as it is a 9 hour flight, but if I am in Glasgow again, I will stop!

I came in late yesterday afternoon and spoke to one of the employees, James I believe, who took me through getting started, painting techniques (even let me try a bit of painting), put up with so many of my nonsense questions and made me feel totally sure of what is required to begin playing Warhammer 40K. Absolutely brilliant staff, very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Have never set foot in the store but have managed to secure a book that I have been looking for for awhile. Guys were a big help on messenger. Big thanks guys you were a big help.

Had a visit during a city trip, nice shop and smart crew!

I went in yesterday looking for one of their board games. Was greater upon arrival at the store and asked the staff member if they had it in stock. Not only did they give me a quick answer but they went and got a copy for me and brought it to me to make sure it's what I wanted. Great customer service!



Thank you very much and I look forward to shopping there again. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Fantastic store. I've got no idea what any of this stuff is, but my partner plays. So went in and asked for the "Football Rats" and the guy knew exactly what I wanted and got me a box of them ordered in.



Similar experience yesterday when my partner needed a board game for a friends birthday present. Went in and asked one of the staff if they stocked it. The staff member said yes, and went to get it straight away.



Very friends. Very helpful. Very good service. Even for someone who doesn't understand any of this

Can't give enough stars to the team here and James! Made the time to sort out an error purchase, literally swapped models with me, gold stars all round! Great stock, helpful team, 10/10 Will return!

I'll be totally honest and say that if it wasn't for Scot showing us how everything worked from scratch, I would've most likely not even picked up a Warhammer figure. I ended up buying a starter kit and a Dark Angels veteran pack just to get me started, and now I have just started my second set of figures.



And Scot; I found a way to get it back home in my bag to Sweden. Thanks again, man!

Always nice and easy dealing with these guys. They will go above and beyond, such as offering a pot of paint from the staff box when they're out of stock for the colour you're after. Probably the best GW store the company has.
