Chocolate chip cookie recipe
100g white sugar 165g brown sugar 1tsp salt... 115g melted butter 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 155g plain flour 220g chocolate chips/chopped choc
1) Whisk all sugar, salt, vanilla and butter until smooth 2) Whisk in the egg, mix should be glossy 3)Add flour and fold in until combined 4) Fold in chocolate - I used a mix of chocolate chips/kinder bar/broken up easter egg 5) Chill the dough for a minimum of 30 mins 6) Use a table spoon of mix per cookie, no need to flatten 7) Bake at fan 180° for 12 mins

Note to self - must practice social distancing from the snack drawer...

Leave to cool. Heat some jam (this helps the biscuits to stick) Mix some sifted icing sugar with milk (makes a thicker icing than water)

... Cream butter and sugar together. Mix in flour a bit at a time. Roll out (a bit thicker than a £ coin) and cut. Bake for 8-10 mins at 180°
