West Coast Aquatics is Scotland's one-stop-shop for all your tropical fish and indoor aquarium needs. We are located at 7 Tams Brig, Ayr!

We have over 60 tropical and cold water systems, 30 marine fish and invertebrate tanks, independent SPS, LPS and soft coral tables - over 40 feet! There is always a large range of dry goods for all your tropical, marine and cold water needs. Custom built light rigs and bespoke aquariums are our speciality! We will also be offering our customers a tank maintenance service on a scheduled or one off basis, for example, if you are going on holiday, need help with specialist treatments, or would just like to improve the overall quality of your aquarium!

POLICIES:

As you are all aware we offer a 48 hour guarantee on all of our livestock. In the unfortunate event that you should suffer a loss we would like to remind you all to please send us a message on Facebook, via email, telephone (07462 379731), or pop in store to let us know.

We will also require you to bring said livestock back into the shop including a small separate sample of your aquarium water for testing. This water sample MUST be brought in with the livestock so that we can rule out any issues outwith our control. Depending on the results of the water test, we will then issue any replacement livestock if the test results are within acceptable parameters. If the results are outwith acceptable parameters we will give you all the advice and help needed to bring your water up to an acceptable standard for keeping livestock happy and healthy. We will be more than happy to retest your water at a later point to confirm water quality so that you don't suffer similar issues time after time. Each individual issue will be looked at on a case by case basis as not everyone's problems will be the same. Remember the deceased livestock MUST be brought back to the shop within the 48 hours in order to receive your replacement!
