West Coast Semi Design Ltd (WCSD) is a design house that was established in 2017 and has offices in Glasgow City Centre, Scotland. The company specializes in developing IP for the next generation of power management IC's for the mobile, industrial and automotive markets. Latest Press ReleaseFollowing several months of negotiations, Glasgow based chip designer, West Coast Semi Design Ltd, has secured a strategic partnering deal with Desay Microelectronics Technology Ltd of China, that will create a new Research & Development Centre in Glasgow. John Gough, WCSD's Managing Director, has confirmed the Centre will deliver best-in-class power management IP and integrated solutions for mobile, industrial and automotive markets. Desay, a £2bn industrial corporation headquartered in Shenzhen, will fully fund the project and WCSD has the green light to build a team of experienced power management professionals to support the requirements of Desay's group companies in China.
