West Drumliah Fruit Farm

About West Drumliah Fruit Farm

We re-open June 2020. The finest strawberries and raspberries - grown in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

All our produce is picked and ready to go, so we’re sorry but it’s not pick your own!

West Drumliah Fruit Farm Description

'Drumliah' translated from Gaelic literally means 'grey ridge'.

Our fruit grows where the Highland air is at its purest. Nestled on the edge of a pinewood forest, high-up in the Sutherland hills and only a short distance from the village of Bonar Bridge.

Our fruit is grown in specially designed polythene tunnels and greenhouses. Our advanced indoor growing system allows us to better nurture what nature has surrounded us with. The difference is in the taste.

Our fruiting season usually runs from May through to August. We supply shops, hotels and restaurants in the local area. We also sell frozen strawberries and raspberries from our farm shop.

Because we don't grow our fruit outdoors in fields, we are unable to offer customers the option of picking their own.

Mother Nature does her best, but she can't always guarantee availability. We advise checking availability before making the journey.
