A very Happy Birthday to Elizabeth Ferrier MBE
Elizabeth turned 80 yesterday and her neighbours all got together - while social distancing - to celebrate her big day!
Elizabeth received her MBE in 2015 for her 45 years of dedication to girlguiding!
... We hope you had a wonderful day!

Help us keep them safe. Local people always provide a significant protective factor for children and that’s even more important at a time when families may be under significant additional stress.
You can call our children and families team on 0141 562 8800 or 0300 343 1505 (if calling out of hours) or the Police on 101. #KeepKidsSafeC19

World Book Night - Thursday 23rd of April
Join us as we celebrate World Book Night. We are joining with the Reading Agency in celebrating reading with the Reading Hour from 7.00 - 8.00 pm. You can do anything you want related to books: read alone, read with or to someone, or even call a friend to chat about books and share recommendations. You can read a print book, e-book, or listen to an audiobook, and it doesn’t matter what you read. Pick up the book that you’ve been meaning to read for years, or borrow a book from our digital lending services (sign-up now if you’re not already a member) - www.libraryonline.org.uk. On the night you will be able to tell us what you are doing and share an image of what you are reading. More information to follow on our WBN quiz and our challenge to create a book rainbow.

A big Thank You to all the children across West Dunbartonshire who have sent in their beautiful home-made cards and drawings to cheer up the residents at Crosslet Home. The residents appreciate every one of them and made their own poster to say thank you. #proud2bWD
