West End Beach House (Visitscotland ****)

We were privileged to stay in this unique one bedroom B&B beside the sea. Recently refurbished or rebuilt to the highest standards. Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and with a superb shower room. The bedroom is quite small, however guests have their own dining/sitting room. A sofa faces out to sea and on the window ledge is a decanter.
Extensive breakfast options are selected in the evening, next morning you are in for a treat. A foodies delight. Charming hosts.
Since there are no restaurants within walking distance we particularly appreciated the ability to pre-order a cold evening platter. It was excellent. Having brought our own wine the evening could only have been improved if the weather had been suitable to dine on the rooftop terrace.

I would definitely recommend this B & B. It is in a beautiful location right on the shoreline. Gavin and Julie, the hosts, were very welcoming and the food was excellent- both the cold platter for dinner and the breakfast the following morning which was the best we've ever had before in a hotel or B & B. The place was immaculate and the room very comfortable. Definitely hope to go back!

The best B&B experience in my life. I can't say enough good things about this place and the owners. Amazing scenery, perfect quality of the facilities and the room. Unique and tasty breakfast, great selection of whisky offered on arrival... Can't recommend enough.
