The Kilchoan Centre prides itself on offering a very wide range of courses and workshops, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the local community, as well as visitors to this, the most westerly point on the British mainland. Western Ardnamurchan is known for its beautiful scenery which attracts many tourists to the area, as well as its isolated crofting communities. It is also the location for one of Scotland's best known deer stalking estates.

Strontian college centre covers the Community Council areas of Acharacle, Ardgour, Morvern and Sunart and is conveniently located in Àrainn Shuaineirt (The Sunart Centre), Strontian.
