Another fantastic week was had by all as we delivered our seamless ground transportation operation for one of our favourite clients UPS. This was our 10th Open with UPS one of the championships major sponsors. Here’s to the next 10 years.

Well as busy weekends go this one has been a cracker. Weddings, corporate events, bands on and off private jets. All performed by the best chauffeurs team in the business. Well done guys.

We collected another two new V-Class on Friday from Stratstone Mercedes in Leeds giving us 5 V-Class in our fleet. Thank you guys for the speedy turnaround. It was needed as both cars immediately out to work Friday evening and all weekend. These two additions makes our total fleet size 19 vehicles to suit all types of events.

Another busy day delivering VIPs to The R&A golf day at Kingsbarnes Golf Course for one of our favourite and longest serving clients UPS. This is our 10th year in a row working with UPS having started at The Scottish Open at Loch Lomond in 2009. It’s great getting new clients but servicing our regular clients like our friends at UPS is what has allowed us to grow our business. Thank you UPS for your continued support and thank you to the many chauffeurs that have represented us so well over the years. Best in the business.

Another new Mercedes-Benz added to the fleet today and immediately out to work with a client tonight.

Late yesterday afternoon we took a late request for a well known TV celebrity to be taken from Glasgow to London urgently as all air and train links were obviously down. Our gorgeous Range Rover Vogue came to the rescue leaving Glasgow during a RED weather warning and dropped the client off at 3am at his Kings Cross hotel. Well done to our chauffeur Rob for his outstanding service. Robert and our Range Rover Vogue are now back safely and available to be booked for any must go journeys.

Getting married? This show is a must for you. Over 400 exhibitors. This is the biggest and best wedding show in the country.

10 years ago this month less than a year after we started West of Scotland Chauffeur Drive Ltd we exhibited at our first SECC Wedding Show. We took a 2 x 1 meter stand costing £400.00 and I stood there all weekend offering brides one of our two Mercedes-Benz E-Class”s for their wedding. I think we took about 4 or 5 bookings so yes it was a worthwhile exercise. I remember vividly looking at all of the established wedding Car Business like NIL cars and Silver Choice limousine...s from East Kilbride , ivory Choice from Elderslie and StClaires Wedding Cars from hamilton with their stands with 3,4 and 5 cars on show with their 12 x 6 m stands and feeling completely like the poor relation. Today none of these companies are exhibiting at the show and many no longer in business and we are exhibiting a total of 8 cars including the newest member of our fleet our Bentley Mulsanne Speed as well as our Range Rover Vogue, new mercedes-Benz V-Class from our corporate fleet. We are also exhibiting our two Classic Beaufords and 3 Classic VW Campervans. These cars are being exhibited over our three different floor spaces totalling 150 square meters making us the biggest exhibitor in terms of floor space at the whole show. It’s been a fantastic 10 years. Working 24/7 some weeks aiming to provide the very best service in the industry.
