Always use westend cars when I need a taxi but tonight they excelled, as usual punctual but I had a person with ms who also had had a few drinks and was very unsteady, the driver Douglas went way beyond his obligations helping me and I am so grateful.

the art of customer service appears to have completely bypassed the switchboard lady...

We used their services for years, because although the service quality was fluctuating, their prices are really low. But today they left me completely stranded even though I booked the taxi a day in advance. They didn't pick up the phone either, no matter how many times I called them. I will use another company from now on.

Used this company for years and never had problems until the past few weeks! 1st incident being in a car with my mum seated at the front and two children in the back noticing the driver staring rudely at my mum and literally almost crashed if i hadnt shouted to him to stop. Nothing was done about this incident as hes still driving on roads! 2nd incident being tonight a different driver tried to over charge me and briefly agreed on a payment until he attempted to drive whilst the door was wide open with my son sitting at that side with no seatbelt on due to trying to get out of the car at our stop leaving my son shaking!!. Lost a loyal passenger for sure!!!

Phoned for a taxi, was told I’d have a 30-40min wait, after 45minutes phoned and was told abruptly that I’d get a text when taxi was approaching.....24+ hours later, I’m still waiting on the text! Thank goodness Glasgow taxis were more concerned about a young female standing in the westend herself and stopped!

Moved to West End from network and initially had a much better experience, but in the last few weeks I have been kept waiting and waiting. Tonight waited 25 mins for a car from queen st station, and when the guy finally arrived, after me phoning twice, he says they were very quiet and couldnt understand why I’d waited so long. Not happy at all and won’t be using west again

Dreadful service from this company that was a recommended by family member. Booked cab day before. Cab didn't turn up at booked time. Very belligerent and unhelpful when I phoned. Totally unreliable.

At 00.55 on 09/07/16 I contacted Westend radio cabs as I was given the number by a friend who uses the company regularly. I live on the south side of Glasgow so do not know many taxi companies who operate in the Westend. I was advised over the phone there would be up to an hour wait on a taxi to arrive. I agreed that would be fine. As it was possibly peak time. The call handler finished the call with reiterating my second name and address.



Over an hour later I contacted the last telephone number on my call list 01419542000 for an update on when my taxi would arrive. However I was not prepared for the response I received.



The call handler was adamant I did not call this taxi service as there was no record of my call. I tried to explain this was the last number phoned and I had indeed phoned for a taxi over a hour ago. He spoke to me in a rude condescending irate tone telling me I did not phone this taxi company!!!! After a few further exchanges being met with the same response, I Terminated the call as I felt the conversation was becoming very heated and nothing was going to get resolved.



I am fully aware that sometimes mistakes can be made at peak times. Whether that is a flaw on the computer system or due to human error these things happen. I am also aware that some customers do give the wrong information over the phone as the customer is not always right! However for a call handler to completely disregard a telephone booking and to insinuate the customer is wrong and questioning there capacity is completely unprofessional and rude! I have both calls logged on my phone. Issues like this must cost the company money as I am sure I am not the only person who has experienced poor customer service and will not be the last. My friend who uses Westend radio cabs frequently was so appalled with the customer service over the phone she will not be using the company again. After this unprofessional phone call we managed to find another taxi company in the west end to use.
