When thinking about changing cars visited Newbridge and Callum was very helpful and said that they were expecting some pre reg Ravs in and gave us choice of colours.Made the decision on the spot and said that we were going on holiday from September first and could we pick it up when we came back.Went up on the ninth and Callum had the Rav all sitting waiting for us.He made us feel very welcome and well looked after.A great 60th birthday present.

Went back to Western Toyota after five years of owning a new Hilux which was sorted out for me by Roger Wilson. Good communication from Roger second time around (as was the first time) and traded in the old Hilux for two new Invincible's from stock. The whole process was easy, relaxed and professional. Good salesman (Roger Wilson) relaxed and very knowledgable about the vehicles he was selling. Also felt that I got a good deal! Thanks Roger and Western Toyota! Hoping for another five years of trouble free driving!

Having been requested to do and appraisal of the new Aygo, I agreed to take the plunge. It was going to be an up hill task for the poor beast as we have owned 4 Yaris’s, 2 Urban Cruisers, 3 T Sport Corolla’s( one of which I still use) and our nice new Rav 4.



On first sight the Aygo looked very stylish, the Silver body with the black trim was really quite different and refreshing. Move inside was more of the same, but the gloss instrument Binnacle and centre console trim may have just been a step too far. The Info/entertainment system was excellent. My mobile phone paired without a problem and it even downloaded my contacts into the memory for hands free use. The radio was also easy to set and use, and the display doubled as a monitor for the reversing camera.

The seating position was very comfortable and the instruments were easy to see and read. There wasn’t much legroom in the back but that was not a big problem for me and you really wouldn’t expect more in a car of this size. Much the same could be said for the boot but it was still adequate for transporting all my work equipment.



Firing up the Aygo for the first time the engine was willing though like most 3 cylinder engines sounded a bit rough, this was only present really at start up and when actually on the road it was pleasantly smooth. The change gear lights seemed to come on a bit early especially if you wanted to make good progress, and actually if you wanted to do that on motorway slip roads then it could pick up it’s skirts and skip on quite briskly.



Ride and handling were very good,it could go very well through corners , didn’t suffer from too bumpy a ride, and the brakes were very smooth and positive.



Where the Aygo really shone is the fuel economy. It had a very mixed bag of motorway country and town driving over the 360 miles I had it and averaged 59 MPG which doesn’t quite match up to Toyata’s 68.9 but most of the time I had a passenger and equipment in the boot so this is quite impressive.



I could certainly recommend this to anyone, especially for town driving, and it wasn’t out of it’s depth on motorways and country roads, but I couldn’t help thinking that a another 20-30 BHP might just make the package more complete!

Great service from all at Newbridge, particularly Allan Grant who went out of his way to help my sister in law in the purchase of her Yaris Design. We picked up the car today and Allan made the handover a special day from Roseann, thoroughly going over how things worked ensuring we were all happy with the car. The car was prepared to a very high standard, so thanks to all at Western Toyota.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Absolutely love the car and will be back for our next one. Special thanks to Ian for all his help.Would definitely recommend to friends&family

Amazing service from Ross at Newbridge. When I picked up my new Yaris he went through everything very clearly and thoroughly and made me feel as ease driving off in the new car.
