Avoid Avoid Avoid - Customer Service at its very worst.

I
bought a Passat from a colleague at work when it was 7 years old. He bought it brand new and it’s never been in a bump or painted but it’s rusting all over. When I took it to VW Western body shop they said they’d fix it as it has 12 year anti corrosion warranty.
They phoned me back 12 weeks later and said they can’t fix it after all as they can’t see the rust in the photos they took. However as a goodwill gesture they’ll pay half the cost of fixing only one panel but leave all the others.

I also own a Bmw M3 and all the Bmw dealers I deal with give me the impression that nothing is too much trouble.

I was going to buy my partner a VW Golf but I’ve put been put off VAG for life. I’d never recommend VAG to anyone.

Sales personnel really good at therir craft of selling, shame about the depth of knowledge. Pet hate every negotiation includes a visit to see what the Manager says!

A most helpful and efficient service. Ross was a delight to deal with.

Car broke down while we were on holiday. The staff was tremendously helpful and friendly!

Don't expect too much & you won't be disappointed , Fort Kinnard not much better ....

Cars are pricey very occasionally they are priced ok , but that is very rare ...

Worst VW to date !

Travelled down to Edinburgh from Inverness to pick up a golf car and I would certainly recommend going there for a car as they were very friendly and can't do enough for you, the gentleman who was dealing with us was Simon Thomson and he was brilliant I would have no problem going back there keep the good work going guys your the tops xxx

Poor service last time I dropped the car off for a service. Like another customer has commented they took ages for my car to be booked in. To be fair the service guy was busy but the salespeople managers and receptionists were doing nothing. This time I used their online booking form and I did not receive a call back. When I called to book their computer system was down. If I had not prepaid for the mot I would not be using them ever again.
There should be an option for zero stars too, one is too high

Terrible experience here in 2013, have not returned since. Bought a second hand polo and had problems with it a few weeks later. Took it back to get checked out and was told that the car needed new brake discs AND pads. I was given an estimated price for this and was expected to pay despite the fact the car had apparently had a full service and MOT the day before I bought it. After a lengthy discussion with a manager, they finally agreed that they would cover these costs. I went to pick up the car later that day and noticed on the invoice that new brake discs were listed but not pads. When I queried this I was advised that the brake pads had now been given 'a clean up' and that in fact they had around 50% life left in them. Interesting that this was not done before, when I was going to be paying the bill. Another discussion with the same manager left me feeling frustrated and told that I would not be getting new brake pads and he was sorry if I felt I had been scammed. His words not mine, but exactly how I felt. I have 2 years' free servicing here but absolutely will not be returning.
