***Case catch up*** 2 weeks ago one of our patients,Treacle, developed a slipped disc in her spine and became completely paralysed in her back legs. Luckily her owners recognised the signs very quickly and following urgent assessment and stabilisation at the practice she was referred to a specilast Veterinary hospital in Stirling for surgery. Following lots of rest and tlc Treacle is coming on leaps and bounds (quite literally!) and is back walking around normally. We are de...lighted with her progress and cant wait to see her running around with her sister Coco again. heres a couple of photos of Treacle getting her staples out today and being such a brave girl. A big thank you to all at Broadleys for their care of this special girl.

**Have your dogs been chipped?** Since April 2016 all dogs and puppies over 8 weeks old in the uk MUST be microchipped. This includes older dogs and farm dogs. It is estimated that 1.5 million dogs in the uk are still not chipped which could land you with a fine of £500! Microchipping is a simple, quick injection. Please give us a call at the surgery to book an appointment or for more information.
