To be honest I should say it was terrible to stop them going there but I can't i started drinking in a wetherspoon in Cardiff first & i can tell you best thing I done i know pubs have got to make a profit but some are to greedy so I always ask or go on my app where the nearest spoons is the price of a pint the food & the staff you can't fault Tim Martin should get a job on the Brexit committee he would show them cheers

Steak was really lovely friendly staff we went new years eve after work not a lot of time starving got table soon as we went in food came quick roasting and brilliant couldn't fault at all. A guy fell over when we were there and staff were brilliant in dealing with him and helpful thankfully the wee old guy was fine would defo go again and recommend the place

Me and my partner have been in Monday morning and had a breakfast and back in at night for a meal before Beth hart and had another Scottish breakfast this morning 15th November and enjoyed it... Good size portions set you up for day and staff were fantastic

Loved this place ! Staff great and so was food �so good we came back for breakfast, see you next time we are in Glasgow

We stopped in Thursday morning for breakfast which we enjoyed very much then later on in the afternoon we stopped in again and shared a bottle of red wine hubby also had a pint of Guinness which he said was excellent

We always go here,good pub grub that is cheap an good,4 meals and 4 drinks for £27 can't get much better than dat

Not enough staff behind the bar have a separate counter for meal if there is only one person serving and someone before you orders 4/5 meals for there group it's a nightmare if your behind that person and you only want one drink so I suggest separate Isle for drink and one for food

We went in for lunch before going to the theatre, it was quite quiet at the time, but as the day went on it obviously got busier and 2 people behind the bar was just not enough staff, other than that, the food was lovely

Slow service, small portions, had to wait to get clean cup! Used to be a favourite but not now.

Only went for a soft drink today but had food on other occasions and its been ok for what you pay. Mostly ready meals style. Today I couldn't get served at the bar. Two different members of staff just blanked me when it was obviously my turn. Maybe I'm too short and they cant see me. I gave up and a tall male friend got my fruit smoothie. I m such a hard drinker me. There is a very good and well priced range of all drinks though if you want something stronger than a smoothie and hot drinks are a good price too. Why don't we have proper queues in bars?

My husband and I popped in for some lunch and we were both very disappointed with our food. My husband a burger which looked awful, burnt on the outside and was very dry, the bacon on the burger looked like pieces of rubber. The burger was also tasteless. I ordered the chicken burrito which had obviously just been in a microwave to heat it up as the edges of the chicken were all hard. We were going to stay and have a few drinks but left after being so disappointed with the food. The member of staff who took our plates away didn't ask if we enjoyed the food, she lifted the plates and scarpered, probably scared we would say it was rotten. Very disappointed so won't be back!

My first time there and sorry to say meal was awful. I did Complain as my daughter s steak was actually raw and they'd cooked them in oil and herbs etc which was very spicy and there was no mention on the menu. However the guy did do a refund on my daughters and gave us a free sweet. So not all was lost. But maybe a while before I go again .

If you are out with friends and wanting to engage in laughter then this isn’t the place to go. Unfortunate faces allowed only.

The staff are rude and miserable. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere.

Food and service was awful all ordered at the same time and was served at different times food was not the best one of the worse wether spoons

tonight in one of your bars (the society room) I experienced one of the worse nights ever. As I was sober and observant I noticed how rude and ignorant your staff are. Pointing and laughing at a person whom was either transexual or transvestite. Now this woman was clearly just enjoying her night out not causing any harm. And I feel for your staff. And even what I presume as a manager (blue shirt) to point and gather other staff up is horrible. And not professional at all. Absolute joke of an experience from such a large company with so many other branches. Think you should teach your staff about manners and not to act like that in public and in front of customers.

My friend ordered eggs benedict when it arrived the plate was hot and the food was cold she took it back and ten minutes later it returned in the same state, I had a Scottish breakfast which could only be described as disgusting. Needless to say we will never be back and will advise others to stay clear.
