best ball park in Cambridgeshire!! love everything about it, staff, food, atmosphere.. just the best!

We held our sons 6th Birthday here. The staff were fabulous and very attentive. Great variety of party food and drink and great amount too. The venue also took time to cut the cake and wrap it and even gave a card and voucher to the birthday boy. The venue has a fab soft play for all ages and is kept very clean too. Will highly recommend.xx

We had our son's 6th birthday here this weekend and he loved it, his friends loved it and all had an amazing time. Lovely staff on hand to help and to keep mum and dad calm and stress free. Good variety of food and my son just loved being on the birthday throne ☺ Great place. Thank you to all at Whale Of A Time for helping to make his 6th birthday amazing and special! X

We bring my son and nephews and niece here on a regular basis, and the staff are wonderful, service is efficient and facilities are great.

The areas are clean and there is plenty to do, from soft climbing frames, slides, outdoor play area, trampoline and other stuff.

We attended a super hero party here and didn't pre-book by mistake, but Antonia was helpful and let us in. The kids loved it, and so did the mum's when Batman came out ;-)

All of the above helped us decide to hold my sons 5th birthday party here, and it was a great success.

The food is good, large portions, basic menu but very tasty.

Whale of a time is 8 miles from my home, but I choose to go here rather than Funky Funhouse which is just 1.5 miles away because it's nicer, and the fabulous staff make this the best soft play area for us.

My little boy Rhys has just had his 4th birthday here and I have to say I'm blown away by the staff. They completely exceeded my expectations, so friendly and helpful. They made it the perfect afternoon for him. Thank you so much X

Also our favourite soft play, we've visited dozens of times and held 2 birthday parties here too.

This disco room is a lovely change from frenetic climbing and sliding. I've only had one bad visit, in the summer, when the slides were out of action due to the heat, and the wifi was off, but apart from that it's always been great.

Antonia(?) the manager with a brown bob is absolutely lovely and clearly cares deeply about whether everything is alright. We'll keep coming here til we outgrow it.

It's always clean, the people who work there are friendly and I can relax while the children play and also have the option of feeding them while I'm there would highly recommend this place

Had my little Boy's 3rd Birthday here.

The staff were incredible and very helpful despite being extremely busy. I would recommend having hot food as it was very popular with the kids. They were so happy that they all fallen asleep on the way home.

The atmosphere was very friendly and very secure, you can relax with a cuppa while the kids play.



I would definitely recommend this place to have kids parties. Better book as early as you can as it is so popular. Thank you again, WOAT Staff for going above and beyond to give outstanding service.

Absolutely brilliant. The kids loved it and had great fun in all the various areas of the play area. We left really satisfied and kids worn out!! Totally reasonable and value for money too. A great way to spend the morning. Almost certain to return. Well done!!

It may not be the biggest or the most 'brand new' but what it has was brilliant customer service from the young girl serving, someone hoovering everywhere including the netting and all the little nooks and crannies. Perfect little space to see everywhere so my disabled mum could feel a part of my son playing without having to keep walking around to see him. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly! Will 100% be going again.

I’m trying to my head around how you run special needs sessions, yet in holiday time have no special needs rate .... making money comes to mind �.... After bringing 5yr old autistic twins a gate for the serving area maybe a good idea , food is a good incitement for them to run around there,,, The young lad working today is really nice friendly & helpful, the other staff are also really nice too. Just think with special needs children you still need to tweak a few things,,, All in all a nice place and we wouldn’t have any hesitations returning, kids enjoyed it & had fun...And before anyone says these children have 2 carers and we always watch their every move

Its a good medium sized soft play area with friendly staff, but hot food was not being served at 3:30-4pm with no notice saying what time hot food was being served,didn't shut until 5pm! And what cold food we did order toke 30mins to come! Was only a sandwich

I know it's near Christmas but it wasn't even that busy and it was pretty dirty and the floor was covered in food bits. One of the staff had her mate there and was far more interested in chatting to her than helping customers so we had to wait ages to be let in. A lot of the toys looked a bit past their best - think baby walker with no batteries and a pop up toy with only one of the four pop ups working! Loads of big kids in the toddler area and the signposted rules on the trampoline were completely ignored, in full view of the disinterested staff. It wasn't cheap either!

So after spending 15 minutes at Whale of a Time with my twin girls today, one of them had a coughing fit and was sick (not in the soft play areas I will add). If that wasn't stressful enough, I had to sort her out and clean myself, as well as cleaning the table. I then had the other toddler to convince to come out of the toddler area as we were leaving. As you can imagine 2 toddlers one covered in sick and the other wanting to play was hard enough to sort out but to have the staff look at me like I was a huge inconvenience was hard to swallow especially when they could see me struggling with the kids and struggling to carry all our stuff plus the kids and having to open doors to the toilet and direct both kids inside one of wish not happy to be leaving the play area. Not one person offered to help by opening a door or help me, now I don't expect that of the customers but I'd have thought the staff may have opened a door. Then as I left I went to pay the tab and having been there 25minutes I thought they might have at least offered to charge me for one twin and wish us well but nope £15! Customer service is dead! Won't be returning!

I went yesterday manager sold me out date crisp my son ate half pack till I looked at date I was in shock to find that crisp was out date by 3 months I showed manager and she laughed in my face said at least it not meat omg.......i was in so much shock I've reported her to trading standards there are taking very seriously ..im discussed in how crisp was out date my 3 months omg
