Lovely cafe with friendly and efficient staff. The tea and coffee with great scones certainly hit the spot with our group of hill walkers . Would certainly recommend .

Great place friendly staff good food scones delicious

This cafe has a nice decor and is spacious and friendly. It has a railway theme and a wood burning stove.

The clientele tend to be on the old side, which is fine, and it's a good place to have a wee cup of tea.

But it's not a great place for lunch. I had scampi and chips and ate the lot as I'm a greedy so and so, but it wasn't great food -- all of it had come out of the freezer except for the salad which didn't have a dressing.

Not my favourite cafe but an important place for many people in this busy little town.

The place seems nice enough, but we arrived at 4 and were told there was no food as they closed at 5. Staff generally unfriendly, but the cake was good.

Its excellent, all walks of life, cosy but not to small, log fire, great food, gerat prices, when im there I go eveyday for lunch, if I lived there I would do the same, friendly, staff , locals, passer throughs, delightful
