Whistlebinkies Live Music Bar

Every time I visit Edinburgh I make sure I visit Whist Binkies to get my live music fix. It is a bit rough around the edges but that's what makes it good. The people there are great, the staff are great and there's a very good range of beer too.

Go here a lot, good value on drinks and the bands are always pretty decent. Good spot if you're looking for a dance but not wanting a club

Decent livey Divey Bar in a perfect place. The prices are decent and the environment is great. I do wish the drinks where a bit stronger though.

Great bar, brilliant atmosphere if you like live music this place you can't go wrong. Situated in the old town which adds to the vibe. We went on a Thursday night. Bands played well into the early hours to a great crowd of tourists and locals alike. If your expecting a classy bar keep walking plenty of trendy nightclubs available for you. Will defiantly visit again!!

Great atmosphere, reminded me of the Cavern in Liverpool. Live music till 3 a.m. and good bands. Good selection of various drinks, average for the area prices but a few of my beers were very flat so have to lose a star for that.

Good for a pit stop on a night out. Reasonable prices and live music
