All set up for Kitty The Vintage Caravan vintage fair. Gorgeous day too. Lovely coffee and cafe. Kitty the caravan looks beautiful. Come to The Stables, Culross between 11 and 4.
Just letting my customers know that I'll be at Callander kirk hall tomorrow and also at the Port of Menteith Blether on the 9th. Lots of Christmas goodies, a great offer of 3 large jars of any jam, chutney, marmalade, cranberry sauce for £9 instead of£10.50. Delicious home grown raspberry vinegar and the new Raspberry and liquorice jam. See you there.
Just letting all my customers know that it's the Green Gallery's Christmas Fair in Buchlyvie this weekend. 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Lots of local artists and crafters will be there. There's a raffle and lots of fundraising for Strathcarron hospice. Whitehill Preserves will be there and I've got lots of jams, chutneys, marmalades, plus fabulous Cranberry, port and orange sauce. Do come along and check out the tasting samples and special offers. Half price entry at 10am and 4pm. See you there.
Come along and sample the new Vintage Range at the Kippen Vintage Fair tomorrow. Village hall 12-4. I've got Dumpsie Dearie jam, made from plums, pears and apples. Matrimony jam is the perfect marriage of damsons, pears and apples. Raspberry and rosepetal is fabulous on scones and Wild strawberry is perfect for a sponge cake or mixed with natural yogurt. I've made my first ever batch of Golden raspberry jam with yellow autumn raspberries from the garden.Don't forget to taste the Strawberry and rhubarb cordial-great with Prosecco, but also delicious on pavlova, cheesecake and ice cream. Looking forward to seeing my lovely customers at Killearn tomorrow. Got my usual favourites plus some new "specials" for you to taste. Made Apple, lemon & lime curd yesterday with Keith & Val's fabulous, organic eggs. Also got a very tangy Lime & tequila marmalade. The Apricot & rhubarb jam is lovely and so is the Very berry. I've got plenty of low sugar Mango & lemon chutney and a tasty new Gooseberry one. Just about to bottle the last of my Elderflower cordial-great in a G&T or Mojito. Also made some new crumble "kits". Choice of rhubarb, gooseberry and apricot & apple with 2 different crunchy toppings. See you tommorrow.
