Wickes

Poor ordered online only to be told didn't have it in stock as I was on my way to the store even though they had taken payment for it on click and collect low and behold I went in and found it on the shelf not very good service and been told I have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund to back onto my account

Small compared to B&Q but good quality products if in stock

Called Wickes, Stirling, this morning to enquire about a product that was not in stock as per website.
Website stated that the closest Wickes that had the item was either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The female that I got on the other side of the phone was most unhelpful! I only called to ask if it would be a possibility that the item could be sent from one of the other stores to Stirling and that I would be happy to come & collect IF this was a service they offered??
Well, apparently they don't as they are "too busy" and their drivers are "hard pushed" to accommodate any such request!! She also sounded like she just couldn't be bothered to talk (alot of sighs/tuts during conversation).
The website states that delivery is free but after this experience I will not shop with Wickes again. This employee needs to be taught some people skills/manners if she is to continue to represent a company like this!
DO NOT Phone Stirling branch for an enquiry as you won't get anywhere!!

I want to put on record how pleasant and obliging I find the staff in this store - a testament to your good management

Great and quick store. Reserved the evening before picked up the next day, staff ensured that everything was correct before leaving. Prices also cheaper than other places usually
