💐🌷 Thankyou to all our wonderful mummies, grannies and aunties that attended our afternoon tea party today. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. A special Thankyou to Louise and George Scott for the huge task of baking the cakes and the scones! 🌷💐

👂 👀 🖐 👃 There are lots of exciting things happening close to nursery at the moment so the rabbit room took the opportunity to explore the environment using their senses.👃 🖐 👀 👂
The children used their ears to identify the noise of the diggers, their eyes to name the different colours and their sense of touch when feeling the bushes. The children were able to identify which cones were bigger and which were smaller than themselves.
Robert told us that the traffic lights on red means stop and green means go. 🚦🎉

🧦 World Down Syndrome Day takes place on Thursday 21st March 2019. We invite your child to wear mismatched and brightly coloured socks to nursery to celebrate this day! 🧦

💐🌷 On Thursday 28th March, the Children in the Hedgehog room (3-5years) will be hosting tea parties for a special lady in their lives. Invitations are heading their way to you this week. 🍄🌻The children and staff in the Rabbit Room invite you to their Sneak a Peek Sessions which we are hosting on:
⭐️Wednesday 20th March 2019⭐️
We are hosting 2 sessions on this day at:... 10am-11am and 2pm-3pm
These sessions are aimed to: - Give families an insight into nursery life - Allow families to spend time playing with the children in the nursery environment. - Give parents/carers the opportunity to ask any questions and talk to staff about their child’s progress at nursery.
Please let a member of staff know by Friday 15th March if you would like to attend and which session you will be attending.

🐇 🍓🥕🥦This month the children in the rabbit room have been learning about healthy and unhealthy foods. This morning we went on an adventure to Morrison’s to see if we could find any of the food that we have been learning about. We found everything on our list. 🍞🥥🍊🍎

✏️🖌🖍📚Yesterday Rachel, Claire and a group of children popped over to Trinity Nursery for their first ‘play date’. The children had great fun exploring the nursery environment and making new friends with the children. Thank-you to everyone at Trinity for having us, we are looking forward to you visiting us next time.
Throughout the year we will be continuing to build up our relationship with Trinity nursery by spending more time together both inside and outside of nursery. Building up this relationship will not only build children’s confidence, it will support staff in sharing good practice between both nurseries. 📚🖍🖌✏️

🦷 Amanda and Donald from Childsmile visited us yesterday to check we were doing a good job of brushing our teeth. Amanda reminded the children to brush their teeth in the morning and at nighttime. Thank you Amanda we love it when you and Donald visit! 🦷

Please be reminded that there are no funded sessions on Friday 15th until Tuesday 19th February. Nursery remains open on these days. Funded sessions resume on Wednesday 20th February.

As parents, we know how precious our babies are to us and for that to be taken away from anyone so soon is unimaginable. Let’s help Sarah, Natalie and Sean raise money in the memory of Oliver to help families in the future 💚

Well the time has come when Owen will say bye to u all tommorow to start hiz new adventure in P1 after the summer holidays �, thank u so so much for the 3 years Owen has been comming to yous since the age of 2, he has come along way and learned so much, and it's all thanks to u all and ur hard work with all the children, yous are going to be a big miss in Owens life and would recommend yous to any1 that's wanting there children put in to a nursery, thank yous all once again xxx
