We now have freshly caught Scottish Lobster on the menu!!! Yum!!! We serve them in several different ways but when they are gone they are gone. We are sorry if you get here and there are none left but that is due to our regular practice of fresh seafood. If you would really like lobster for your lunch or dinner then give us a call on 0131 225 3636 and we will be happy to put one aside for you. We will be sending pictures really soon.... Lobster love, Wildfire Team

User

What a gem! I wanted Scottish food, and this place really delivers - at a reasonable budget. The wholegrain mustard & drambuie sauce with the haggis was a revelation! The mussels were beautiful, and there were too many for me - you won’t be disappointed. If you have room for dessert (I didn’t) specials included white chocolate and baileys cheesecake. White chocolate. And Baileys. Let that sink in! I have to come here again... soon!

User

The food here is totally amazing. Could fault it or the staff had a great meal on Saturday. Thank you

User

So glad I popped in here, on my own on one of my rare trips into Edinburgh. Was lucky to get a table, fab decor, very tastefully decorated in a Scottish theme as you'd expect but not in a patronising way. 2 courses for 13.95 lunch menu had a varied choice, perfect servings and delicious, will definitely be back and recommend to friends

User

Popped in on the off chance they had a table and thankfully the lovely staff managed to squeeze us in. The food, atmosphere and service were amazing.

We went straight for mains, surf and turf for me which was cooked perfectly to my liking and plentiful. My husband had the mussels and again, mounds of food quality fresh mussels with fries and bread. Deserts were amazing. We tried the locally brewed ale which went really well with your meals.

Will defo recommend and now on the to do list for next visit!

Interestingly, we went to the Witchery the evening prior and this knocked spots off that!

My partner and I were in Edinburgh celebrating my birthday. I am a lot of intolerances and allergies, so I emailed Wildfire ahead of time to check that they could cater to me.

I have to say, the service (most especially from Linsey) was exceptional. I was informed of everything that they could safely serve and what they may be able to modify. Upon arrival, Linsey very sweetly assured me that she was on top of all my requirements. As I do not eat out often due to how challenging it can be, I took everything with great comfort.

The place itself is very cosy with a lovely, warm vibe. The food was delicious. I found the garlic mushrooms exceptionally tasty, which went well with my steak. The staff are super attentive and friendly.

We will most certainly be back to visit when in Edinburgh again. Thank you for making our night very special.

User

My first time in the Wildfire, we booked for Monday night and glad we did as it filled up pretty quick. My daughter had eaten here previously.

It's small and not many tables, the two young girls were really friendly and explained what the specials were, nothing was a bother even though they never had a minute.

We ordered steaks which were cooked to perfection. I also had the sticky toffee pudding which was the best I have tasted.

I would definitely recommend but please book to avoid disappointment

User

Lovely wine, cured salmon and perfectly cooked fillet steak. Gorgeous meal and attentive service.

User

Lovely place and the staff are friendly and service was excellent. Went at lunch time and had the set menu, paid a £3 supplement for the steak which was superb. Cosy place so I would say to avoid disappointment book. It is well worth a visit

User

Best meal Ive had in a while in a cosy little place...

The pan fried prawns were big and juicy to start with. Moved onto the Aberdeen angus steak which was cooked to perfection.. All the taste was still there..

Finished with a chocolate and almond pudding which was superb..

All in all a great experience. Suggest you book as even on a Monday night it was busy..
