We went for afternoon which was just delicious and very good value for money. Highly recommend a visit.

We came through from the west to have lunch with our friends. Really enjoyed your home cooked food. Lovely walk around the garden centre too. Purchased a few wee gifts too

Very fast efficient service. Food and drinks first class. Seating areas very comfortable and clean. Tables cleared and wiped down as soon as people leave. Best of all the way they serve you is so efficient. You order your food and drinks, then go sit down and it is also brought to you. Every thing is piping hot. None of this carry on like Dobbies were you wait and queue for sometimes half an hour then your food and drink is lukewarm by the time you get it. This coffee shop is ten out of ten.

This was my first time in the café at Williamsons and to say I was impressed is not enough. Lovely ambience and the food was great - will definitely be back xxx

Popped along for breakfast with my fella. It's the first time we've been (usually go to Dobbies) but were disappointed last time so my mum suggested here.

Fantastic breakfast. 9 freshly cooked items with toast for £4.99. Couldn't fault it, delicious. Will defo come back.

I've been quite a few times much better than dobbies as your hot drink comes around the same time as your hot food only gripe is they need two tills as waiting in a long queue is hard for some of my elderly clients

Great wee place. Nice home cooking. Soup and sandwich deal good value. Need to come back and try breakfast �

Very nice Coffee Shop near Uphall which has been recently extended and modernised... its at the back of the florist shop and looks out over the garden centre .... great customer service and lots of room ...

The indoors part of the garden centre is quite small, so I was surprised that the coffee shop seemed bigger. Nice selection of cakes and teas and sandwiches. I had an earl grey cake. Very tasty. It was 3pm when I went in and they just brought out some new cakes.....so nice to see things being replenished.

My first visit today the tea and cake was good but service was interesting! Waited in the queue for ages 15 minutes to then be asked did I want a cake I said yes and a pot of tea please no I don't do hot drinks then waited again and asked the girl at the till for a tea who then gave me number and said they would bring it over then another wait then I got my pot of tea !! I think you need to get a better system!!

Party of 5 on a Sunday at 1200.



Tea and coffee arrived at 1230. 1 scrambled egg roll arrived at 1250. Then 10 mins later another 2 of our orders arrived. Then the final order (cooked breakfast) arrived at 1310. 1 hour wait with food brought to the table sporadically throughout the hour. Either employ more staff or implement a better process of service when times are busy. Really not acceptable. Especially when people have plans on a Sunday. Potentially ruining a groups day by being under prepared and under staffed. Not likely to be back, especially on a Sunday.



People waiting 20 mins in a queue at the till to be told they will need to wait 20/30 mins for food. Put a sign up!



Shame, because the food is good.

On my first visit, I ordered "Cauliflower and Broccoli bake" what came was macaroni cheese with one piece of cauliflower, when I took it back to the

counter-staff the response I received was "Do you want us to add more broccoli" what I would have expeceted was a new "Cauliflower and Broccoli bake" but this was not offered or any explanation of why I had macaroni cheese. On asking to speak to a senior member of staff she explained that the "bake" was not mixed enough. I was offered a pot of tea or money back but when my wife had already started her meal, I declined. What I did eat was acceptable but the response to my enquiry was not appropriate or with sufficient thought to my meal

I was Having lunch with Sylvia my wife sitting with our coffee decided to order food which then took 10 mins too order at the till whilst my coffee was going cold !

Another 10 mins till food arrived by that time had finished coffee , asked waitress when she brought food for another coffee " response - sorry I deliver food if you want another coffee you will need to go and stand in a queue to order , the que was double the size by then and would have taken at least 20 mins to order





this is shite service - won't be back just terrible DIY stand and queue service at premium rate



They don't deserve the custom !!!!!

I have been to williamsons before and the first time there was a hair in my breakfast i put this down to an accident and left it at that. I have since been again amd low and behold 2 hairs found their way into my breakfast. Although the staff were very apologetic and gave me a refund , i think until the staff start wearing hair nets i wont be attending again.
