About Willowbank Day Service
Willowbank Day Service is a day service for adults with learning disabilities run by Aberdeenshire Council situated outside Peterhead.
Willowbank Day Service Description
There are many activities offered at Willowbank and several training projects, Glendaveny Teddy Bears, Glendaveny Preserves, Glendaveny Garden Furniture and Kindlers, the Coffee Bar Project, etc. Other activities are activity groups, computer sessions, art groups, rebound therapy /trampoline, snoezelen, makaton, swimming, horse riding, sports group, social outings, drama and show groups and special care.

Just a reminder to everyone that there will be no Plant Sale this year this weekend. We are due to move the garden furniture and kindlers out to Aden Park probably in August now but it had been hoped around April so we decided against having the Plant Sale as it would have been too much on top of everything else. Many thanks to MACBI Community Hub, Mintlaw who throughout the month of April raised £570 for Willowbank and to raise awareness of autism. Thanks to everyone involved!
This is David Ritchie doing his debut show on the Thursday, 3-4pm spot on Buchan Community Radio. Service users at Willowbank listened along too and really enjoyed it. David had a great time and is looking forward to next week. He did a great job and is very knowledgeable about his music especially ABBA!
Due to technical difficulties have not been able to post on our facebook pages. Everyone at Willowbank would like to thank everyone who attended the Willowbank Plant Sale on Sat, 30th May. Also many thanks to those who helped before the day, on the day and after the event. As always we were very well supported. However, we do have some plants left, especially fuschias! Gilian presented Una, Manager with a cheque for the fantastic amount of £920 for the Amenity Fund. Money was raised from Gilian's birthday and several other fund raising activities. Thand you so much!
The "Wild Cats" cheerleading group who were invited to put on a display at the Peterhead Harbour Open Day on Saturday, 10th August 2013 and were so good they were asked to do an encore! Well done everyone!!

Just to let everyone know the Show Group will be performing their next show, "Blue Toon Brithers - Sooth Bay Sisters" on Tues 25th, Wed 26th and Friday 28th September at the Peterhead Community Centre Theatre, tickets £5 each. Will let you all know when the tickets are available! Looking forward to it!
