Oops! Wrong poster for the Humble Scribes. Although they do love it when folk sing along with them. Let's try this again...

It's treasure trail time on Wednesday. We'll be trying out our new permanent set course.

We're hitting the halfway mark of a great summer bandstand music series. This Sunday we get to hear from the young voices of Hawick with ACT I.

What a great day at the bandstand yesterday afternoon. Scocha delivered a great show with 600+ folk in attendance. Great music, sunshine, a couple of birthday announcements and even a marriage proposal! It all happens in the park.

User

This should be a good afternoon at the bandstand! Bring chairs and sunscreen. (or get there early for deck chairs)

User

Only one week away from this annual favourite. Get those pooches ready for the big show!

The summer fun begins next week and continues every Wednesday during the school holidays. Lots of variety and most of the activities are free (or by donation). Note the revised times for Zoolab which are different from the printed versions.

After a great Sunday afternoon with the Stevie T Band, the series continues with String Theory in the Park.

This Saturday is one of our Wee Beastie events. The Wildlife Information Centre will be there to lead a wee beastie walk and do some spider spotting. The Tweed Foundation will be there to have a look at water beasties and do some electro-fishing. And of course the Wee Beasties exhibition will be on at the museum.

Always a bandstand favourite coming up this Sunday with Stevie T and his band. Hopefully the weather will be kind enough to bring out the deck chairs.

User

Next up at the bandstand is Borders singer songwriter Millie. Millie opened for Karine Polwart last year in the walled garden concert.

User

It is always a nice surprise what String Theory bring into the park for their Sunday sessions. Could be local talent, could be a travelling musician. Come down on Sunday afternoon and find out...

User

This Sunday we kick off our bandstand series with the wonderful world travelled Riddell Fiddles bringing tunes and music from around the globe.

User

Look what our friends from RSPB found in one of the nesting boxes on the weekend. Seven healthy nuthatches ringed and recorded.

User

Looking forward to welcoming back the Family Fun Day to the park as part of the Borders Science Fair on Saturday.

User

Here's a preview of what's to come in the next few months in the park.

User

It's hedgehog season at the museum once again. Come along and meet Sticky!

User

This was a mid point meeting place for us and friends and our 5 children between us loved tge park. Beautifully designed, soft padded flooring everywhere and enclosed so parents can see all areas without worrying. Nice picnic benches aswell. When the cafe and toilets are open it will be perfect.

Lovely place ,beautiful trees . Have a nice quiet walk anytime of year.

Just beautiful! Pictures do not capture it, at all. Wonderful network of pathways winding here and there with the river running through it. Never seen such an inspiring play park. My children spent hours here and didn't want to leave. Can't wait to see it in summer if it's this pretty already in winter/spring with bare trees.

User

Greatest park ever. I walk round it almost every day and always see something different. The wildlife is unbelievable. Numerous different species of birds but you have to look for them
