WJ Electrical based in Falkrik are the Scottish Competence Centre for Danfoss Variable Speed Drives and Softstarts. In 1968 Danfoss introduced the world’s first mass produced variable speed drive for AC motors and named it VLT®. We have been working closely as a Drives Partner with Danfoss for the past 14 years, so we have a lot of experience to offer. We have dedicated Danfoss trained technical sales and service personnel to deal with any enquiry you may have.

Our role is sales, service and repair of Danfoss Drives and Softstarts for the Scottish Region. Offering bench and site repairs as well as on site installation and commissioning. Drive Hire is also available. We offer site surveys, service contracts, in house or off site training all tailored to your site specific.

As you know there are nearly always energy savings to be made from using Variable Speed Drives on centrifugal loads such as fans and pumps. The new generation of frequency converters are available in the power range from 0. 18 kW to 1. 4 MW and have an efficiency rating of 98% ; dramatically reducing energy consumption.
