Congratulations to Vignir´s Lab for publishing their breakthrough findings in Nature Medicine. The work, which was done in collaboration with Eyal Gottlieb´s team at the Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute, describes how a drug called Tigecycline, an approved antibiotic, can kill leukaemia stem cells when used in combination with currently used drug, Imatinib.
