We plan to start upgrading our cross country course soon in time for the spring !! The course length will be significantly increased and a new larger variety of jumps and heights which will be avalible for hire!

Diamond is a beautiful 8 year old 13.1 Cob X with a fantastic attitude. Very quiet gentle mare and great with children. Very low mileage. With a gorgeous look and 3 lovely paces she would do well in the show ring however diamond also loves to jump. She has not had much education jumping but will happily pop a 60cm course and has shown huge amounts of enthusiasm around our small xc course. ... Diamond hacks alone or in company, perfect for farrier and loads and travels well. This fantastic little mare is looking for a loving forever home that will further her education.
She is currently not in alot of work due to time commitments and will need fittened up again.

Jack came to us a wee while ago and due to being out of work needing some time to be built back up to riding work. He's now settled in so well and we would love yo show off his pretty paces ! 💜🦄
He will be avalible in lessons now for intermediate and advanced riders and despite his very showy paces he is a fantastic jumper!

Carolyn Bateson is a dressage and jumping coach who aims to improve riders from beginners to Grand Prix level. She has over 40 years of experience and has trained horses up to Olympic level with their riders. She is a firm believer that it is all in the training. Lessons are £45 per session for 1 hour of private tuition. Fantastic to work on collection, balance, rhythm and suplleness.

We have a few spaces avalible for own a pony day on Friday the 4th! Full day 10- 4 -£55 or half day 10- 1 - £35

Indoor + Outdoor arena 180x80 with carpet fibre surface outdoors and a silica sand/ rubber mix indoors. equipped with show jumps.
Monarch Stables – available in varied sizes.
Each stable block, consisting of between 5-6 stables, has their own secure tack room/ feed store along with easy access water tap.
XC training field available for use – primarily through summer months.
Fantastic hacking with very little roadwork required.
All areas of the yard well light.
CCTV on site.
Small kitchen area, vending machines, changing room and WC on site.
Trailer parking

Went today for a cross-country lesson (haven't been jumping in a looong time) and Aimee was amazing! Shwed me round all the jumps, gave a lead over some and just generally helped my confidence. The yard is beautiful, the horses are all well looked after and just a generally friendly atmosphere. Affordable for a poor student like me too. Will absolutely be back for more!

Love this place. Last year I decided I wanted to get back into riding I had tried a couple of other schools then noticed Aimee had started working here I thought I would try it out and I’m so glad I did both Aimee and Nichola have made me more confident rider again and horses are treated so well. Best riding school I’ve been to in years!!!

Love this place, friendly staff lovely horses and ponies. It is in a fab location near the Colzium Estate which has lovely play park, grounds/gardens and cafe, the canal runs past the yard and the indoor area a is a real bonus especially with the Scottish weather. Definitely recommend anyone who loves horses or wants to try horse riding for the first time to come here.

I had my first ever riding lesson today. The staff were very helpful and encouraging loved every minute of it and would highly recommend.

Have been going to woodend for years now for shows and absolutely love it. The staff, liveries etc are so friendly. Only small negative is the car park being so wet. But otherwise 5stars xx
