Due to unforeseen circumstances our fairy trail is going to close for the season after the 12th of August. We will be open the 10th, 11th and 12th of August and then close for 2018. We’ll be announcing the theme for the weekend tomorrow (we’re very excited about this one!) and then we’ll be getting ready for our new Woodland Night Experience which is opening for 8 nights in November! Hopefully we’ll see you all for our final weekend (10th-12th)!

Open till 4 today (last entry 3.30pm) it’s mild and dry (at the moment but raincoats might be a good idea). Come and see us!

Woodland Wildlife Wednesdays
🦌 Roe Deer rut 🦌.
This week Farmer Kenny has been noticing lots of Roe deer in the woodland. They are most active in the morning before 6am when most of our fairies are still in bed. At this time of year the bucks (males) are marking their territory and warning off others with warning calls. Without a doubt the best place to take the little ones when you go to visit Santa, so much interaction, all the staff are great and really make the experience special for the wee ones, and Santa is just brilliant, so funny and makes it magical for the kids. Well worth the money ��

Went today on a visit home with my American children and had a WONDERFUL experience. Totally unlike anything they've been to before.

This place captures the magic of childhood and had them rapt from start to finish. The staff were just lovely, and clearly enjoy bringing the imaginations of children to life (particularly the tractor driver whose fairy name I very rudely have forgotten). Will definitely be back with other family and friends, and intend to check out the Christmas experience soon.

We visited today for the first time and we will most definitely be back. Such a lovely place filled with magic and make believe. Both our kids absolutely loved the surroundings and all the excitement that was all around them. The staff were all so lovely. Very welcoming, informative and spent time giving the kids useful and interesting information. Such a lovely experience and a fantastic day outdoors.

We had the most magical day 😊 would definitely recommend. My little girls loved every minute. Made some lovely memories and took some great photos. Staff were all really friendly too. Thanks for a great day!

We had an amazing afternoon here. My daughter has now been twice and both times has loved it. we were here with the teddy bear picnic so took lots of pictures with the teddy, and loved the activity sheet we were given too do. So much effort has gone into this and it is very much appreciated. We got our tractor ride from Farmer Kenny and he was great at involving the kids. The lovely lady at reception when we were getting tea/coffee/juice and biscuits was so great at answering questions etc and she gave my little girl some more crafty things too do. My daughter was also excited by the bouncy castle that was there as well. the shop is lovely and very unique items can be found. I will be back too buy more hand crafted wooden toad stools. The only "issue" we have is getting there. you do need a car if you aren't near by. Apart from that its a great place. Looking forward too our next visit

We had a lovely magical day out at the Fairy Trail today. We loved the fairy village, meeting Fairy Liquid and Farmer Kenny. The staff were great and our kids (ages 6 and 1) just loved it!

Visited here yesterday for the first time with my mum, hubby and 2 granddaughter”s aged 3 and 5.. from start to finish we all had a fabby time .. the trail is excellent and the ride on Farmer Kenny”s tractor/trailer was great .. staff on the wee shop and at the drawing tables were so friendly and helpful .. will definately return was an excellent and exciting day for us all .. many thanks xoxo

Our daughter loved visiting the fairy trail today, from start to finish, staff were lovely. Wasnt expecting the refreshments and tractor ride to be included in the price which was a lovely surprise, perfect picnic spots to sit and enjoy our lunch. Good fun had by all today. Will return again in the future.

My nearly 3 year old and I had a lovely afternoon here. The detail in the Fairy Village is brilliant, staff all lovely, a tractor ride and bouncy cancel included in the price along with tea/coffee/juice. Great place and we'll definitely be back xxx

Just magical. I adore this place as do my twins. It's so pretty and I find something new every time I go. What's more important for me is that it's not overcharged, the owners don't try and squeeze every last penny out of the parents with overpriced (and very much needed) teas and coffee, no this is included in the price! At the break out area you can bring snacks to feed your kids - another bonus for me. I have very picky eaters and most play places frown on bringing your own food because paying to play and buy drinks isn't enough. Entertaining kids can be so pricey these days but I'd go here every weekend if I could. It feels like it has been created with the not only the kids in mind but for the big kids too. Please don't change! Go, it's worth it in every way x

Just discovered your fairy wonderland today and booked straight away. All the staff were lovely and made the experience magical. My son had a fantastic day doing the fairy trail and loved the tractor trampoline and also the tractor trailer ride around the woodland, we enjoyed talking to the farmer about various aspects of the woodlands with some amazing history. Great priced and a great wee day out enjoyed by all. I loved the fact that tea, coffee, juice and biscuits were included in the price.

Had a lovely day here today. 6 and 2 year old were mesmerised by all the fairy houses! Really welcome staff in this family run business. Highly recommend!

Had a brilliant day out here today with my little girl. Along with the actual fairy trail being so lovely and magical, all the staff were amazing too. From the lovely lady on reception who gave us lots of wee treats to the "real" fairy in Fairy HQ (who my daughter just loved) to Farmer Kenny who gave us a ride in the tractor trailer despite there only being 2 of us around at that time. All in all a great day out which is real value for money �

Great experience, full of fun and the staff keep the magic of fairies alive. Little one loved it, he is home, tired and covered in mud .. very happy boy

Absolutely brilliant day. Our 6 year old and us had a ball. Attention to detail is amazing and plenty for the kids to do and a good length of walk for exploring. Tractor ride was fab and farmer was very friendly as were all the staff. Absolutely no complaints or disappointments and will Definately be back
