Well what can I say, what a great bunch at the Woodlands. We got married on saturday the 28th of April and they honestly couldn't have done more for us. The room was set up amazingly, the food was great, the staff were very attentive and nothing we asked for was ever a problem and all our guests made comments about it. We have to give a special shout out to Nikki who was amazing 😊

We just had our engagement party at the hotel last night (Saturday 15th April) Eddy and I can't thank Nikki, Aileen, Peter, Craig and Laura for the fantastic service they have provided up with from our first meeting until right up until the day we were kept informed of what was going on. The staff went way and beyond. We can't thank them enough for the amazing service they have provided us in the last few weeks. Excellent hotel and excellent staff too.,

We had our wedding reception in the Woodlands early October time. Excellent service from the planning stages through to the day itself. Nikki and her team were very professional and organised and were lovely with it. We had a fantastic day - a big thank-you from us. X

We had a wonderful stay at woodlands hotel. The staff were all outstanding. Our room was spotless and to say we were above the restaurant and front of the building, it was very quiet. Our stay was just what we needed. So relaxing.

We had a slight issue with our room which was dealt with amazingly. We got moved to another room and a bottle of prosseco was put in it for us changing over. It wasn't a massive issue but the hotel dealt with it so professionally and we really appreciated how it was handled. The breakfast was lovely, an amazing selection for us and the baby to choose from. The pool area was great and we had a lovely swim on the Sunday before we left. We would definitely recommend and use this hotel on our next visit to Dundee. 5* service from a lovely hotel.

My sister in law and I took our babies - 9 weeks & 11 months for swim and lunch deal. Staff were amazing, couldnt do enough for us. Really friendly with the wee ones - even tho my one was chuckin his food on the floor �......Pool was cosy too. Thanks x

My husband and I would like to thank Aileen and staff for our wonderful wedding day on Sunday. From the initial discussion re what we wanted to the smooth operation and service....faultless ! Thankyou again.

It’s amazing rooms are perfect beds are comfy staff are lovely, they served up an amazing evening by allowing our 6th year dance to happen food is also great

Had a great weekend with friends on dbb, fab dinner & breakfast included in price. Also had a walk into town for few drinks as such a nice sunny day. We had a KS room 223 which was lovely, only downside it was very warm in room but we used the fan provided. Will defo return to this hotel.

Got married here on 18th May. Wedding day was perfect. Staff excellent, food wonderful and beautiful location for outdoor photos. Stayed overnight in bridal suite, bed was beautifully decorated with swans and petals. Bottle of chilled prosecco and glasses waiting for me and bridesmaids on arrival to get changed. Wish I could it all over again!

Both myself and my husband (woohoo!) would like to thank each and every member of staff at the Woodlands for such a fantastic wedding day.

It ran so smoothly and we really couldn't fault anything at all. As a wedding supplier myself I knew what I had hoped for, for our big day (as I had been waiting 10 years for this day to happen). I had a long list of extra props, decor and little bits and pieces to add that extra little touch and make it ours and the staff were amazing and didn't forget one single thing that I had asked (so thank you!). The staff were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful from beginning to end and our day was so relaxed (just what we had hoped for). We would highly recommend the Woodlands to any prospective couples looking for a venue for their big day as you will not be disappointed at all.

All the staff were very friendly. We had a great family weekend with good food and leisure facilities. Rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

All staff went above and beyond to make sure my wedding ran smoothly. All queries beforehand were always answered. Had lots of gueats compliment the food that was served. Would definitely recommend this venue x

nice reception staff made you very welcome, party night good but meal could have done with being earlier as 12.30 finish meant not long for dancing, disappointed that Jacuzzi was not working the locals that go said there is an issue with boiler which is being fixed early January. Breakfast was nice but no haggis!! all staff were very friendly.

Would just like to say the hotel staff were all wonderful during our recent stay and a real credit to your hotel. I had spoken to Pam before arrival and she was so helpful. She greeted us on arrival and explained everything perfectly finding out what additional needs we might have whilst there and how they could help. All the staff went above an beyond to ensure we had a nice stay helping with where to eat and shop and everything we could require. I can not fault the service at all. We were at the hotel as attending the world karate championships in Dundee. Pam asked how my son had got on. He had won two medals during the tournament and the following day there was a card on the bed congratulating him on his win. This was such a lovely and special touch. Really made him feel special. Never let any of your staff leave. They are fantastic and a real credit to the hotel.

We went to meet relatives who were having a stay at the hotel, we were coaxed into joining them for dinner, the staff were very atentative and very polite, why wait for an excuse we will be returning. Soon i hope.

Overnight stay at the Woodlands hotel. Booked via My Hotel Break website. Friendly reception on arrival. We had room 122 which was a upstairs room, the room was clean and tidy, had a window but with a view of the roof. The room was compact with a small en suite. the shower was very poor with a slow run of water, think the shower door needs a new seal as leaked water over the floor. We used the pool and spa area and was a nice treat. We did not eat at the Hotel in the evening but came back early in the evening and had a few drinks in the bar area which has a relaxed feeling and staff very welcoming. The breakfast was a buffet style with a good selection of cooked breakfast as well as the continental breakfast. checkout was 11am. for the money paid it was a nice break.

Easy to book on line and there was a special offer for BW points card holders.....a free breakfast. We also got a room upgrade so very pleased.

Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good sized room, very comfortable bed and large screen TV. Shower was very powerful, though there was no bath.

Great choice at breakfast with a wide range of food hot and cold. I especially enjoyed the choice of fresh fruit that was available.

Plenty of parking very close to reception. There is a swimming pool too available for guests.

Highly recommended! Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Although it says Dundee, the hotel is beside Broughty Ferry, but Dundee city centre is only a few minutes drive away.
