The pot of the gold at the end of the rainbow is the great news that the Highland Council has bought the buildings underneath the castle! If you are a fan of brutalist architecture make sure you book with us soon as these buildings may well be a thing of the past!

We have had such glorious weather in the Scottish Highlands over the past week - there really is no better place to be when the sun is shining!

Took the tour from Inverness to Isle of Skye and it was amazing. I wish I'd had more time, so I could go hiking on Skye, but this was a good start.

Sandy and Dougie were the perfect team and they did everything so well; driving safely on narrow roads, having the perfect playlist to complement the stories Sandy told, giving us all the information we needed and more.

Thank you for a perfect day in the most beautiful of places!

PS. Sandy - it's called a pod of dolphins ;)

When in Scotland you must visit Isle of Skye and the absolute best way to see the most beautiful and interesting part is on the WOW Scotland tour. It didn't seem "long" to me. The breathe taking scenery and the entertaining and informative tour guides, Sandy & Christian, made the day seem to fly by. A great selection of sights and stops! I would highly recommend this tour!!

We had a fantastic day on the 12 hr Isle of Skye tour. Gordon and Sandy were a great pair to travel with. What a fun and informative story teller Gordon is. The day went by fast but it was unforgettable and so scenic. It was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Well worth the cost. The awesome weather was a nice bonus as well. Keep up the great work guys!

This tour was one of the most incredible experiences in all my travels! The scenery is beyond words and pictures, and our guide Sandi made it all the better. He is a gifted story teller and taught me so much about the history of the area. Csaba was the driver and I felt completely trusting of his skills while winding around some tights roads. I would highly recommend this tour...make sure you have extra batteries for the camera and lots of snacks because it's a long day but so worth it!

This tour is long as others have pointed out, but totally worth it. Our tour guides, Paul and Christian were excellent. The tour packed in more things than I could have imagined and it was absolutely fantastic- the sceneray, the tour commentary, choice of songs, and the infectious energy that Paul and Christian have! Would highly recommend them.

The wife and I took the one day Isle of Skye tour. The tour covers all the important stops you'd like to cover. Sandy keeps the mood jovial and shares the history of the sites we visited. I would recommend the tour to anyone who just has a day to cover the Isle.

The best tour we took by far on our entire 12 night cruise (including the ones the boat organized)! I’m so glad we were able to learn so much about Scotland and being an Outlander enthusiast, this tour was perfect! Thank you to our wonderful tour guide!!

Quite simply the best tour I’ve ever been on! We were visiting the highlands for the weekend and with the Sunday busy for the Loch Ness Marathon we needed a comprehensive Scottish highlands itinerary - this was it!



Sandy and Crisitian were a super duo with so much knowledge delicately delivered throughout the entire tour. If you’re not sight seeing at one moment you’re learning and vice versa... but often both!



Keep up the incredible work and I can highly recommend their tours.

My mom and I were on a cruise around the British Isles on the Royal Princess and we booked this tour about two weeks before we took it. Our tour was perfectly built around the cruise ship's schedule arriving to pick us up early and bringing us back an hour and half before the ship departed, right on time as promised. I was a bit worried to take an excursion that was not arranged through the ship, but this tour ended up being better than any of the excursions we took with the ship. We were on a new, spacious bus that had good, free WiFi (which was wonderful as the WiFi on the ship was expensive and spotty).Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny as he could be! Even our bus driver was friendly and knowledgeable. We went to several places that the cruise excursions did not as well as some that they did. We were given a free lunch with many sandwich options to choose from (even gluten free and vegetarian), we were also given free waters in a eco-friendly container that was biodegradable. Besides this we had a perfect balance between free and structured time at all our stops and the guide and driver both opted to take more scenic routes so we could see the beauty of Scotland. My mom and I have been on 28 cruises to different parts of the world and have taken many excursions, but I can honestly say that my mom and I both agree this was the best excursion we have ever taken! My mom and I are a bit picky, but this tour provided us with no complaints whatsoever! I would recommend WOW Scotland to everyone going to Inverness, it truly made the Scotland my mother and my favorite place!

Me and my husband went on the isle of Skye tour on June 6. It was excellent. Sandy and Csaba made the trip all the more entertaining and memorable. Sandy is a great narrator and csaba is a good navigator (watch those potholes). It’s a long but fulfilling trip and definitely worth the visit.



We hope to be back again soon so I can see the aurora borealis.

Just had an amazing tour to the Isle of Skye with Sandy and Christian! So lovely, kind and passionate people!! Go with them, they’re the best!

Island of Sky. We had been there on 2d of August. Sandy was our guide, the Rob was the driver. It was my second time on the Sky. But this journey was absolutly magic. Sandy and Rob were very attentive to their guests.

A lot of little details formed into a beautiful mosaic. The storyes of Sandy (he is a brilliant storytaller), the benevolence and professionalism of Rob, the nature is mighty and changeable, amazing music. And the names on the packages with lunch were a small, but nice detail.

If you will be in Scotland, in Inverness choose the WOW Scotland. They are loving his homeland. And now, I am loving too.

If someone asks me to describe this experience in a single one word, the answer is: AWESOME!

Sandy and Gordon know how to make an enjoyable and enjoyable day trip. They are very attentive, always thinking of every detail, from the food to the air conditioning of your seat.

I have done many other tours in the UK and Ireland, and I have no question, this is the best!

I was on the tour on 21st June - the tour had mostly very good weather, and there were plenty of stops for photography. Even for the Highland Cow by the fence on the way to Portree! That was good.

I had an amazing tour with Sandy & Christian to the Isle of Skye! The two were very knowledgeable and hilarious guides and made the day very enjoyable! The tour had the perfect stops for a perfect amount of time as I never felt rushed going from point to point! AND they made my day by stopping to see the Highland Cows that I had been asking about all day! I highly recommend this tour especially if you are only in the area for a short period of time because you see all the key spots!

Excellent tour mixing the history of Inverness with Outlander. Even if you are not a fan of the books/TV series, it is still a great tour covering a lot of history and various landmarks. Our tour guide (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) was interesting, funny and engaging. You can tell how much love he has for Scotland.

Do the Skye tour! There is nothing like it Skye In the world! I am pretty sure its impossible to get a bad photo and they pack In tons of stops! Well worth every penny! The vehicle was comfortable and our guides were the best! Thank you to Christian and Paul for making this a great tour! We did Isle of Skye from Inverness. It was a 12 hour day and Paul kept the energy up the whole time, he was so excited to point out Interrsting things like Wild Life along the road, and random fun facts, Scottish folk lore (I’m going to keep my eyes open for a Haggis!) and even playing Scottish music. He also was so kind and encouraged fun photos! Christian was a top notch driver and we were extremely impressed with how calm he was on the crazy roadways! Both of them were very Friendly and took time to explain Scottish culture very well! My plans of staying on Skye changed last minute and I’m glad they did bc this tour is an experience I’ll never forget! Thank you Wow Scotland!!!
