Wsm Training Description
FORKLIFT TRAINING
Here at Westend School of Motoring our Forklift Training is conducted by RTITB Registered Instructors.
Come to our Forklift Training Centre or we can come to you to provide on-site training.
Our program is designed to take the operator through the safe operational techniques of a lift truck, and make operators aware of the industry standard of safe lift truck operation.
We provide Novice, Experienced, Refresher and Conversion courses.
We will also be adding Telehandler, Reach Truck and Electric Pedestrian Pallet Truck in the very near future.
DRIVER /TRAILER TRAINING
Our Driver /Trailer Training is conducted by a DSA Approved Instructor.
All our courses are tailored yo your requirements for towing trailers, horseboxes, caravans, etc.
1 Day course - 1 x 6 hours training plus 1 hour's training prior to B + E Test.
2 Day course - 2 x 5 hours training plus 1 hour's training prior to B + E Test.

In 2003 the EU passed the Driver CPC EU Directive 2003/59/EC. The Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) requires all drivers LGV and PCV who wish to use their vocational driving licence professionally to complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years. Our Driver CPC training consists of a wide variety of subjects enabling each course to help meet the needs of operators and individual drivers.
Courses are held regularly our centre which has been approved to deliver approved Driver CPC periodic training courses in Lochmaben, Dumfries or at various locations (either at clients own premises or on external premises arranged by us).

Passed my towing test today, thanks to Steve. Very patient & approachable he explained everything well. Did a good job of keeping me calm when the nerves were kicking in, Highly recommended.
Kieran got me through my RTITB forklift test with ease. Kieran was professional and the training was of a good pace. I would recommend WSM and give them 5 out of 5
