Gym great good equipment nice and spacious only one complaint people sitting on machines playing on phones 1 chap today on machine for about 20 minutes never used machine once eventually had a word need another entry on rules board.other than that gym is perfect for me being able to use during day as retired never too busy. Staff all pleasant and place spotless been member since opening day and no complaints other than that one.

So i have had a hell of a time trying to cancel my contract with this gym to start with not long after i joined i called and asked if i could freeze my contract as i was pregnant (i had troubles in pregnancy) and they wouldn't freeze it. After the 12 month contract came to an end i tried to cancel contract i was unable to do this online explained this to a member of staff at livingston who advised if ypur not able to do it online you'll need to cancel your direct debit. I went home and done that then only a week or two later i start recieving threatening text messages from X4L saying they would need to get debt collectors for the £9.99 payment (paid 12 months in contract).

So i phoned up explained the whole situation the the man advised if i wanted to request a cancellation i would need to pay £35.99 and arrange a mmeting with the general manager!! I said i don't want to request a cancellation i am cancelling but ofcourse he couldn't help any further. I have just had a baby and do not need this added stress. It should not be this difficult to cancel a gym membership!!

Im a member at pure gym who offer more and have no contract can cancel any time no hassell and the staff and gym are alot more welcoming. Customer service received from X4L has been appalling.

See whoever the daft cow working at the front desk at exercise for less seriously has one of the worst attitude problems I have ever seen honestly every time we are there shes at it al no be back all started over bags when for the last year we have never had anything said to us about them even it that she said yous can take yer training bags up and put them to the side then that’s fine witch is what we do anyway that’s all I tried to explain then she went and got one of the PT and he put his hands on me so you’d should honestly be lucky I’m no taking this any further honestly wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone it’s a shitehole �

Everyone should be wary of this company, after paying an exorbitant cancellation fee in relation to the £10.99 you pay monthly, we are receiving harassing emails suggesting this has not been paid! Upon approaching the management of the gym, they unfortunately lack the professionalism and integrity to call their customers back! We had received emails confirming our membership had been cancelled, however communication between Harlands company and excersize for less is clearly lacking. You are not entering a financial agreement with excersize for less, you are signing up to a dodgy admin company who oversee fees and will charge an excessive admin fee for cancelling! this is not made clear when signing up! Dodgy dodgy dodgy ��
