YNH began as a result of the 1964 offshore radio station called 'Wonderful Radio London' that was created by Don Pierson of Eastland, Texas. In 1984 Don Pierson tried to restart this offshore station, and a year later he gave his legal and financial papers about the original offshore radio station to the founders of the company now known as Yesterday Never Happened (UK) Limited.

Because the problems relating to the failure to restart provoked an investigation into the fundamental constitutional differences in law between the USA and the UK, the founders of YNH 'stumbled' by chance into the relationship between Thomas Jefferson and John Lilburne. This introduction was made through the writings of U. S. Supreme Court Justice Hugo L. Black.

Over the years the founders of YNH have researched and published a series of academic articles about their findings. Today that research work has become known as 'YesterLab' whose mission is to both expand and develop research in a mind-mapping enterprise that is likened to a pebble being tossed into the still waters of a lake. The resulting interrelated ripples represent the various and varied themes that YesterLab is currently investigating.
