I'm a doctor and generally a bit of a skeptic, but I don't think I'm being over-dramatic in saying yoga bellies was life changing for me. My first birth was traumatic and difficult and I suffered postnatal depression for some time after. This time round, with the lovely Audrey's help, it couldn't have been more different. I felt calm and relaxed and can honestly say I didn't feel any pain until her head was there! I honestly believe yoga was the difference and now I'm a total convert. I don't think I would ever stop practising yoga now. I'm very much a beginner, but it makes me feel calm, grounded and happy. Only wish I'd found these ladies years ago! Can't recommend them enough!

I attended yoga bellies in Abingdon with Suzanne Goddard. It was mine and my sons favourite activity we did during my maternity leave. We attended from when my son was 8 weeks old until he was a year old. Suzanne was great, we felt totally relaxed during her class. She was fantastic, I never felt embarrassed if my son was crying and she was happy for me to do whatever I needed for him, nappy change, feed walking around etc. A hot cup of tea at the end was the icing on the cake! I was so upset that we had to stop going when I went back to work!

Has been a fantastic experience; has massively reduced any pregnancy or birth related anxiety and has been a good opportunity to meet other pregnant ladies. The breathing techniques and the yoga have been calming and really useful. Alison is very approachable and reassuring too. Looking forward to continuing post birth with the baby classes.

A prenatal yoga class is not only that - it is a sacred place where you can feel connected to your baby alongside other mummies in the beautiful journey that is pregnancy! A great place to relax and have some "me" time and make new friends :) Come along and see what it is all about, find your nearest class on www.yogabellies.co.uk. :)
