Under Offer or not Under Offer?? As an agent, we try not to mark properties under offer until a sale has concluded missives, to try to protect our clients interests. Under the Scottish Legal System , a sale can fall through at any point until 2 days before a sale has gone through. Marking a property under offer when missives have not been concluded leaves the seller missing out on valuable marketing time should a sale fall through. It is only when we are convinced that everything is in place, we will then mark our properties as 'under offer,' this to protect our clients interests. This reflects in our stats as we only change things once a deal has been tied up. Our clients interests come first before our sales figures.
