After 6+ years of operating at The Mall in Reading, Zed Events are sad to report that it will be permanently closing at the location. We have had so much fun at The Mall scaring the heck out of nearly 50,000 people, but all good horror must come to an end. We would like to thank absolutely everyone who have joined us on this amazing journey and hope to have some good news in the future for the Wasteland Experience as we find a new venue.

We took part in The Mall a couple of years ago and was not disappointed. To this day we think it is the best thing we've ever done. You need to immerse yourself in the story and if you can do that, you're onto a winner. Its scary, it feels real, its well run and in short..an amazing experience. Dont waste time thinking about it....do it!! You won't regret it �

We took our staff to thank them for all their hard work and it is an experience that will always be with me. From the very start to the very end everyone was in character and were absolutely brilliant. I love horror and zombies, it was so well done that at the start I wanted out and then got into character myself, the time just disappeared. It feels real, your in the unknown, your in the dark they’re coming at you it’s bloody brilliant!!! Thank you all involved your hard work is awesome!!

This event is amazing. I would recommend to any horror fan, gamer or people who just love being scared. The location is perfect the right amount of theming is used. The actors are so in to what they do that one of them twisted their ankle and still carried on to the end and didn’t stop to make the event keep going. Brilliant

This event is amazing, the actors make it so easy to get sucked into the storyline and feel like you are actually trying to survive a zombie outbreak. Went with a group of 6 lads of varying ages for my Stag do and we all loved it. We were on the very last run and It’s a shame that the zombie apocalypse event is coming to an end and the new event has got a lot to live up to. Thanks for helping make an awesome Stag do guys and gals, you were awesome!

The best thing I’ve done! Would do it over and over. Can I be in it please?! �� perfect for group work events, couples, on your own. Just a great experience all around!

Simply amazing! Had such a wicked time. Everyone stayed in character. Best 2 hours I’ve spent in a long time! Highly recommend the wasteland experience. Can’t wait to come back for the next story rejig!

All actors were brilliant and made everything seem so real, not a bad word to say about it.

Anyone complaining about not being let it because they were late, they are so clear when you book this that if you are late due to traffic you will not be let in and won’t get a refund, so you can’t really leave a bad review when you didn’t plan your journey well enough!

Myself and my friends visited this at 9am on a Saturday morning for the start of a stag do. When we left each other at 7pm the following day we were still talking about being attacked by zombies and Adam West.

This was a truly amazing experience and I am incredibly grateful to all the people who made it so wonderful. Especially the zombies.

Me and my brother had this for our birthday present and straight away was excited about it. We didnt no what to expect but after the hole experience me and my brother were shocked in what just went on.

It was the most fun we have had. We are big zombie fans so this was the best experience we could of done. Everything was spot on. We got really into the hole story line and into the action.

We had so much fun that we've been talking to our friends and family about it and hopefully planning a trip back with more people.

Again the experience was amazing and the all the actors were spot on.

Highly recommended.

Epic Experience! The actors and their characters were incredible, and terrifying, all at once. The location and props were great, really added to the storyline and made the experience seem VERY real! Would highly recommend to anyone that is not faint hearted (or scared of the dark!)

Done 4 events now with these guys, they are absolute legends. Experiences you will *never* forget. Well worth every penny. If you love gaming and horror, then experiencing this combo of both in real life will be the highlight of your year. Can’t rate it highly enough. Everyone involved is excellent, they know what they’re doing and provide an epic experience for you provided you’ve got the balls to stomach it � A delicious mix of fear and thrill, we will be back! ��

Dear Martin the Kevlar guy,

When we met yesterday, before Dr Adams condemned us all to hell, I felt an immediate attraction to you, especially when you twitched your big gun in my direction.

Then things went south, it was carnage; dark, scary and some very bitey people who wouldn’t stay down despite multiple shots to the head. We were gallantly led by the fabulous Holly and Joe, who were faultless except for the fact they wouldn’t let me tie up the doctor and use him as bait for the rather grumpy people who were wailing and snarling and appeared to want to eat me rather than have a lovely chat over a cup of tea.

And then I saw you again.

So tall, so manly, so brooding.....but darling, what was wrong with your eyes?! You didn’t seem yourself, but I know you still had feelings for me when you continued to pursue me throughout the mall. I could sense you wanted to wrap me in a tight embrace, and maybe give me love nibbles.

But the other civilians needed my help to help them escape, so my love, I had to run from you. All I have of you is this beautiful picture of the two of us which I am using as my profile picture, and I will cherish this forever.

Until I return, remember my piercing screams and my panting breath fondly.

Been twice, fantastic both times! I love that they let you go off on your own after a while, it's tense and horrifying, anything could happen! It's obvious that a lot of love goes into making your experience unique and interesting.



Can not put into words how grateful I am to have been a part of the Mall experience twice.

Amazing day! 11/11/17. Such a great and unique experience. Definitely worth the money and definitely going to go again! The staff and the actors were amazing! Especially Chris and Joe! As the security team and they really helped to make the experience both enjoyable and seem scarily real! Highly recommend if you want both an adventure and a scare! (and also a serious workout!) I've never flown up a flight of stairs so fast in my life � but brilliant fun!

Absolutely fantastic so glad I managed to get it in before it closed the doors for good the zombies looked great and the story was awesome i cannot express how much I enjoyed this experience but beware the zombies are learning..... one stole my hat!! Honestly the best event going! You have to live it words fall short

A bunch of us from work decided to do this and were looking forward to it a lot. We weren't disappointed. Everyone had an awesome time. The guys and girls that run this are amazing. It's not like anything any of us had done before. Very professional from the moment you arrive. Very real. And so much fun. We all want to do it again and introduce other people
