About Zetland Park
Zetland Park snuggles down out of the North Sea winds across the Stray. A small, curiously curved but attractive park, with facilities for family fun.
Zetland Park Description
The park is small in size in relation to other town parks in the area but this gives the site a ‘busy’ vibrant feel with lots to do in a relatively small space that condenses the features of the area brilliantly without having to trek long distances. This combined with its completely flat terrain make the park particularly appealing to elderly and disabled visitors.
In May 2003 Redcar East and Dormanstown Sure Start group supplied equipment for Tiny Tots. This was supplemented by Redcar and Cleveland Council with a play area for older children which combined has proved to be immensely poplar.
