She’s a spritely young thing. She loves the classics but with a twist. Beethoven dub step, fancy dress weddings and basically anything made by Heston Blumenthal – just to name a few.
Our Ms Spritz, full name: Aperol Spritz, is a new twist on an old favourite. Take a glass of prosecco and add a dash of Aperol, a splash of soda and garnish with a slice of orange. Commonly served in northern Italy, especially in the Veneto region, we think summertime is the perfect time to bring it over to Scotland.

Went for the first time and can't praise the staff and the food we had enough. Spotless tables friendly service and spot on food. Will definitely be back next time in Edinburgh I'm a fussy eater and even I couldn't have been happier.

We've been tonight after a long day at the zoo, I can't fault anything but the best was the attention from the waiter with the kids and service, to be honest did our end of the day easier....This was very appreciated!! Thank you for make our holidays with the kids not soo stressful!! ����

This review is not just for the food but for the amazing waitress(Louise)! Just left Zizzi after having a family meal. We had booked a table for 6 of us but there was a booking in before us for 26!! We went in we were told straight away there was a wait for pizza plus they were really busy but it wouldnt affect our service, which it didnt. The waitress was amazing with keeping us up to date when she really was rush off her feet. She looked after everyone and made them feel they were the only ones in the restaurant. Louise definatly is one of the reasons we will be back. Plus food was amazing aswell ;-)

Second time I've been here for dinner before going to ladyboys and have to say both times excellent food and efficient service my son Jon and friend Helen enjoyed their meals too. Great value for money look forward to my next visit .

Never used Zizzi before but our experience yesterday lunchtime I would definitely go again. We used a buy a gift voucher that I had bought at a good price and the food was brilliant really good value! We both had no complaints with the food or service, staff were lovely and accommodating.

My sister had her 50th in the function space. The staff decorated with balloons and made her feel special. Plus the food was really tasty and good quality. Great price. An easy tab system was set up. My friends and I who were on diets had a big low calorie menu to choose from. So.something for everyone. And the space itself was large and beautiful too. Very impressive. And we had the pleasure of having staff member Paul on hand to help with our orders and entertain my 4 year old with the balloons. Was a fab night. Well done Zizzi's!

The bill was very reasonable averaging £20 a head including drinks and coffees.

Overall I would highly recommend here particularly for the staff who make the visit that much more enjoyable. Well done to all, you have a fan.

Staff were fantastic and extremely professional at making this dining experience the best ever. Thank you to Manager Caroline and Katerina - 100%. Table decoration accommodated, Cake presentation etc��

Food was hot & fresh, delivered on time; everything went smoothly.

After a wonderfully long day at Edinburgh zoo we stopped off here for a bite to eat , ended up having a 3 course meal for a fantastically reasonable price. Great place to eat on a budget and amazing food. �

Garlic bread starter was...ok, pizza was exceptionally ordinary, absolutley nothing to write home about, don't know what all the fuss is about, I've had authentic Italian pizza and would rate this 5 out of 10

No atmosphere. Dirty cutlery and plates yet when i requested new ones was answered with a "tut' and 'Why' look! Haven't been to Zizzi for about 9 months but something has changed (other than the prices!) its just not the same any more...portions are smaller, no fried sage on the risotto (and it took a while to find the chicken), spag bol sauce looked gloopy, toppings on kids make your own pizza disappointing (olives, ham and quarter tomatoes) Vegan meal however looked and tasted OK. To be honest probably won't go back which i a shame when i used to go weekly and loved it. I had £5 and £10 vouchers but none could be used on a Friday or Saturday....surely customers spending £50 with a voucher is better than NO customers at all?

The female toilets are dirty, so are the sink areas and the wooden stairs up to the toilets were filthy.

They need a good sweep and clean.

I didn’t like my beef pasta ( my choice ) and it is overpriced.

Won’t be going back, sorry Zizzi but your cleanliness let you down this evening.

Your Chef was next to me as we used the public wc at ocean terminal today . As I washed my hands he walked past me ,out the lavatory door and straight back to his cooking area . I suggest some food hygene refresher course, as soon as possible

The chicken and pancetta salad was a travesty, limited selection of leaves with fragments of chicken, utterly tastless and overpriced! Service was very slow and all the hot dishes were served and 2 of us were left waiting for our salad. I wouldn't visit here again.

Got the festive vegan pizza for a change found a bunch of seeds in one of the peppers (not whole pizza making me think its a mistake) - the caramelized onion wasn't even onion anymore it was like black runny poop, had to wipe it off the pizza. Not sure why anyone would like it that way. At least it was actually made vegan this time, couple times I've had the order wrong and been given Dairy pizzas. Hopefully pizzahut start delivering soon, I'm done with zizzis.

Awsome place

first time in zizzi sure it won't be the last had a fantastic meal with my husband usually one of us says it was OK but zizzi got 10-10 from both of us .

After a wonderfully long day at Edinburgh zoo we stopped off here for a bite to eat , ended up having a 3 course meal for a fantastically reasonable price. Great place to eat on a budget and amazing food. �

Garlic bread starter was...ok, pizza was exceptionally ordinary, absolutley nothing to write home about, don't know what all the fuss is about, I've had authentic Italian pizza and would rate this 5 out of 10

No atmosphere. Dirty cutlery and plates yet when i requested new ones was answered with a "tut' and 'Why' look! Haven't been to Zizzi for about 9 months but something has changed (other than the prices!) its just not the same any more...portions are smaller, no fried sage on the risotto (and it took a while to find the chicken), spag bol sauce looked gloopy, toppings on kids make your own pizza disappointing (olives, ham and quarter tomatoes) Vegan meal however looked and tasted OK. To be honest probably won't go back which i a shame when i used to go weekly and loved it. I had £5 and £10 vouchers but none could be used on a Friday or Saturday....surely customers spending £50 with a voucher is better than NO customers at all?

Fantastic, friendly staff who are very attentive.

The female toilets are dirty, so are the sink areas and the wooden stairs up to the toilets were filthy.

They need a good sweep and clean.

I didn’t like my beef pasta ( my choice ) and it is overpriced.

Won’t be going back, sorry Zizzi but your cleanliness let you down this evening.

Your Chef was next to me as we used the public wc at ocean terminal today . As I washed my hands he walked past me ,out the lavatory door and straight back to his cooking area . I suggest some food hygene refresher course, as soon as possible

The chicken and pancetta salad was a travesty, limited selection of leaves with fragments of chicken, utterly tastless and overpriced! Service was very slow and all the hot dishes were served and 2 of us were left waiting for our salad. I wouldn't visit here again.

Got the festive vegan pizza for a change found a bunch of seeds in one of the peppers (not whole pizza making me think its a mistake) - the caramelized onion wasn't even onion anymore it was like black runny poop, had to wipe it off the pizza. Not sure why anyone would like it that way. At least it was actually made vegan this time, couple times I've had the order wrong and been given Dairy pizzas. Hopefully pizzahut start delivering soon, I'm done with zizzis.
